What a delightful find! Thank you, Yelpers, for leading me here. I was nearby at MemorialCare visiting their urgent care.. and all of a sudden it became lunchtime, and all of the specialists when on lunch break. That meant I could pop out for lunch too! I didn't want to move my car and look for something... so I quickly looked for something within walking distance. Hello, Sub Shack No 12! There weren't a whole of pictures of the food, but I decided to give it a try based on the positive reviews and the extensive menu. 1) You can get almost any type of sub that you can imagine. 2) The lunch combo (sub and fruit salad) is a great deal. The fruit is really good 3) If you're not super hungry, I recommend maybe doing the half sub option? I had a lot of food.. but I was hungry, so that was OK :) 2018: 59/100 read more

I was looking for a quick lunch pick up and came across Sub Shack No 12. It appears to be family owned, with character decorating the walls (1000 piece dog puzzle in the back). Growing up my go-to sub was the meatball, and so I am always up to try that at new places. My verdict is that Sub Shack has a solid one. I chose the Medium size, which was a full size sub, so I would be surprised about how large the Large size is. The meat sauce is not too acidic or sweet, a nice balanced sauce with a robust flavor (likely from meat pieces in it). The sub came with 5 meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter. The meat was seasoned, and combined with the sauce for a rich taste overall. The bread was nice and fresh hoagie roll, and so it helped to absorb the sauce and also filled me up. The sub came with a extra side of meat sauce, which was temperature hot. Enough sauce was put on the sub that it did not need any more, and if extra was added then the bread started to come apart and get messy. Every sub comes with a side of macaroni, potato, or fruit salad. I selected the fruit salad, which was a mixture of common fruits (see pic). The portion size was sufficient for a side, though next time I plan to ask to hold the pickle and pepperoncini to get more fruit. I also ordered a can of soda, which was $1.50, a bit more expensive than anticipated. A positive first impression, and I am interested to return and try a few more things from the menu. read more

Awesome place to get sandwiches for lunch! Pretty quick and really friendly! This place is a walk away from my work, and it's my usual go-to when I don't bring lunch. I usually share with a coworker and get a large ($8.50 depending on the meat and there's only two sizes), pick the sandwich meat, cheese, and/avocado, and then they offer you sides such as fruit salad, macaroni salad, or potato salad. My favorites are salami with cheese or salami with cheese and avocado (that ones a little bit pricier with avocado). Got to try out the cappacola with cheese today and that was yummy! That sandwich is a french roll stuffed with the cappacola/capicola meat (Italian cold cut pork), mayonnaise, mustard, cheese (I chose provolone), shredded lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and onions--the veggies are the standard add ons and you can decide if you want to take anything out like mustard or mayo. Also got to try the meatball sub a day later and that was really good. *FOREWARNING* everything is made fresh and HOT in temperature including these meatballs and the meat marinara sauce (tomato sauce) that it comes with. Burned my mouth a few times whenever I took a bite or added the complimentary sauce that came on the side. It's a simple sandwich with about 7 big meatballs with tomato sauce over it in a french roll bread. Chose provolone cheese so that it didn't overpower the sauce. Would recommend eating the meatball and bread separately so you can dip more of the bread or meatballs in the sauce, but still great as a sandwich, just on the messier side. I always get the fruit salad and I have tried the potato salad. Pretty good potato salad, but it's on the heavy side. Great sandwich and for the price it's worth it. I enjoy my lunch after ordering a to-go here. The lady who made my sandwich got it out 5 mins after my order. The ingredients tasted fresh. Their side choice , the macaroni salad, is well made and being given a side of pickles and peppers are a plus too. I ordered the turkey, bacon, avocado and it was very delicious. Had to wait for a business nearby to come back from lunch to be helped so I decided to stop by for a sandwich while I waited. Ordered a tuna & cheese sandwich w/ a side of potato salad & a side of macaroni salad. Tuna sandwich I have to give an 8/10 rating, tuna was very flavorful & a healthy amount of it as well. Unfortunately the potato salad & macaroni salad were very bland in taste. Overall good place for a tuna sandwich but not so much for sides. Service was good & fast & employees were friendly. Massive subs! I was surprised when I got a large Togo container with my sub in it. The quality was good, lot of bread which I'm not a huge fan of all that bread. I can tell they went to Business Costco for the items there, or maybe it's since I was just there. Overall decent prices for what you get. Not amazing but it's pretty good. Clean bathrooms. Just driving down Newhope and saw this place (5/10/2021 at 12pm) in little office type complex, glad I stopped! Ordered one of the daily specials, man taking your order knows how to quickly move you through your bread and what you want on your sandwich in a pretty quick way. I did full size egg salad on squaw, came with soft drink, bag of chips, and potato salad. Large portion of egg salad that was super great in taste! Was just over $9, $11 out the door with tip was a great value for this lunch deal. Pro's Egg salad and squaw bread were awesome in freshness and taste! Great price for a large lunch combo. They service was nice and the place was clean. I ordered the egg salad sandwich and there was no mayo nor mustard in it!!! So it was just minced hard-boiled egg which was super weird. Tasted OK but it's not egg salad if there no binding agent. I get not putting mustard as it's 50/50 on whether people like it, but it HAS TO HAVE mayo mixed in. read more

Forget Subway, Sub Shack no. 12 is the only place I go for sandwiches! The subs here are huge! They all come with a pickle spear, peppers, and your choice of fruit, macaroni, or potato salad. The large is much bigger than a subway foot long. I always get the turkey bacon avocado. The bacon is super crispy, and they don't skimp on the avocado! read more

Delicious sandwich, I got "The Monster" on wheat and it was the most delicious sandwich I've had in a very long time. I will opt for the French roll bread next time. Excited to try some more subs! I plan to keep coming here when I'm in the mood for a good deli sub. Have also had the Pastrami and its my new favorite lately. The Italian is also very good. Epic fail of a meal. We both ordered pastrami sandwiches- him, pastrami with mushrooms, and me pastrami with bacon and swiss. Each sandwich comes with a side- I went with macaroni salad, and my husband chose the potato salad. The pastrami came on very toasted (almost overly) sesame rolls. This part I immediately didn't like, as I felt that the strong sesame flavor was competing with the pastrami. My husband didn't even start on the second half of his sandwich, opting to pitch it out instead. The potato salad, straight out of the costco bucket, and the macaroni was horrific. Nothing more than boiled macaroni tossed with ranch dressing. I'll take a pass on this place next time. read more

We ordered the 3-Chicken Doner Wrap, 7-Chicken Doner Pide, 10-Beef Doner Plate, and the 17-Beef Ikram Special. Everything was solid. The meat was cooked just right, seasoned well, and portions were really good. The #10 beef doner plate was probably my favorite simple but really tasty. The Beef Ikram Special with fries definitely hits if you're hungry. Overall, really good spot. I'll definitely be back

First he asked if I like roast beef then I said no, then he asked if I like basil and I said I do, and he proceeded to recommend the pesto chicken. These are little things I wish other places took the time to do with their customers. I forgot the young man's name but he mentioned they are a family owned business here and that entices me to come back even more. I cannot wait to bring my wife and kids here.
