ah, I'm gutted, I thought I would be the first person to review sub city, but seems Ben R has beaten me by a few hours. DARN YOU BEN R. Ok back to the review, I went to Sub CIty today as was looking for somewhere to eat that did light snacks and had somewhere to sit down. This is what Sub City provided.
The selection of foods available were wraps, baguettes, jacket potatoes and other sweet goods like cake. The fillings offered tend be along the Indian food variety but this seems to be what Sub City knows best, I tried the Pakora wrap and have to say it was amazing. The best thing about this was that it was on a special offer of £1.99 that they are doing now. The wrap was lightly grilled with as much salad and sauce as I liked.
What made me give this place the 5 star rating is the service. The guy on the counter was more than happy to go through all the foods on offer for us, told us to sit down and he would bring it all over. The wait was a few minutes for my wrap but this was because I had gone and been awkward and chose something they had run out of and had to cook a new batch, however the guy apologized as he handed me my wrap and nipped back to get us some serviettes as well. Above and beyond service you would expect.
If you like magic wrap, you will love Sub CIty, it is cheaper, the people are massively friendly and the food is gorgeous. If you go there now you will get the £1.99 offer and a stamp card that you can get stamped every time you visit and get the 5th one free. Bonus. read more
