Coleslaw is best served cold with dressing added shortly before it is served. Dressing was not very good. Needed more sugar and vinegar. Greens - I would have liked some red wine vinegar or something to flavor them. Even the cheap stuff. Barbecue sauce was average - I think it came from a large plastic container of commercial garbage that you would purchase in bulk. If you are smoking meats and sellling plates of food to the public I think you should create your own sauce or copy the recipe for a really good one. Maybe my expectations were too high. Ribs - didn't stay in the smoker long enough + very disappointing. Portion was small. They have an amazing smoker - use it right. I was very disappointed to learn that there were only two sides and I let them know it. There was a man and woman working. I think they worked the entire day by themselves without a break. My complaint was met with major attitude from the woman and defensiveness from the man. I waited too long for the food and the fireworks were going to start in five minutes so I got my food and went to enjoy the fireworks show. Then Mark and I started to taste the food. Mark took one bite of each item and spit it out. I ate meat off the ribs, just because - $16 I understand the attitude I got from them somewhat - working all day - tired - but, I believe they were the business owners. When you own a business that attitude toward a customer who is bitching at you is . . . They were taking in lots of money, undeserved. That alone should have been enough for them to be able to give anyone the f*ck you smile when realizing that they will be going home to wipe their tears with lots of money. They needed at least one more person to help them. Pay someone under the table or whatever. They have potential to create a very good business. If you serve barbecue, be the best and make sure that your sides are unforgettable, in a good way. It is not difficult. I felt like we paid too much money for a mediocre to completely unacceptable meal by a business that doesn't rely on repeat business. I believe the majority of the customers were tourists.

Come wedding day, first, I had nice matching silverware and the team decided to put the metal silverware next to the silver wear. Here the common sense was not used. This clashed with the decor. I remember mentioning to put the silverware next to the food so if people wanted to use those instead of the ones in the table they had the choice. Secondly, the caesar salad had bacon on it and it was pre-made. Once again, I was very explicit about not wanting pork in the menu. Half of my family ended not been able to eat the salad and I found this so annoying as I paid almost $2,400 for the services. Third, the head server approach me at some point of the wedding to ask me about the services and I told her how I was feeling and told her 'not great'. To this day NOBODY from this company has reached out to me for feedback. Needless to say they won't have my business nor recommendation in the future. Lastly, keep in mind it has been almost a full year of my wedding and I still feel strongly about it all.
