Small spot next to a gas station and a liquor store. Su Pan Bakery sells delicious cakes (whole pies and slices), fruit tarts, desserts and other Mexican baked goods. The other half of the store sells tortas, croissants, breakfast burritos and bolillos, carne asada fries and coffee / tea / orange juice. Service is quick and easy. Came in for a fruit tart, paid about 6 dollars. It was delicious and the crust was lined with chocolate. Parking is scarce. About 10 spots in the lot that's shared. Street parking isn't too far or just park quickly at the gas station and walk over. A few tables and chairs and a tv with music videos was playing when I was there. Solid energy for the place.

We ordered by phone ahead of time at 9:16pm to place an order of "1 Torta Milanesa, 2 preparados de Chorizo." We came about 10min earlier and it was not made. Cook was complaining and playing around with the Cashier's Saying kitchen is closed. Definitely one of the worst service I had here. I love supporting local but man, this place unfortunately isn't it . I just received the order at 942pm. Note of advice Talk to your kitchen staff. Also, There were a few people waiting just as long. They did a great job with the cake I ordered for my coworker. The only frustrating thing is that I did order it a week ahead so I could just pick it up before work and it wasn't ready when I got there. Luckily it didn't take too long and they did a beautiful job. My coworker absolutely loved it and I do recommend them but I would just say make sure to leave a time buffer if you need to pick it up in a hurry.

I've looking for an authentic panaderia in the area! It was very clean and welcoming. The staff was polite and provided great customer service. My friend mentioned them offering tortas so I decided to give it a try. The torta was delicious and they forsure do not skimp you! I'd also like to add that their pan is delicious, not stale at all, very soft, sweet and tasty, I'm definitely coming back for more!

cream cheese danish

So i came here today for the first time and i got the cream cheese danish. it was $3 which i find pretty standard for the price. its basically right next to the burger king in price center too btw. yeah but the place is like a self serve type thing. just get the tongs, pick up the pastry u want, place it in the bag, and then just check out at the front. quick get in and get out before class which i find very convenient. pretty nice ppl working at the front too. but yeah my cream cheese danish was pretty good. not too cheesy, nice n flaky. not too sweet either but just right. pretty fye. if i put that bih in the air fryer it would been even more fire ngl. will def come back fosho

Rosca de Reyes cake with cream cheese.....delicious
Jennifer V.

This pan Rosca de Reyes is sooooooo delicious. It is moist--not crumbly, great texture, and my goodness the toppings especially the star was the cream cheese filling. I ate this bread three times! I even called back the next day to check their inventory. And to my dismay, they only make it for that celebratory holiday. I have something to look forward to in 2026! In closing, I have been back here several times for their pans and bolillos! Wtf! The bolillos are sooooo delicious and soft. A household favorite!

Iced coffee with almond milk and Flan Napolitano

I love a little coffee shop break when I'm on the road between patients and need a place to chart. Su Pan bakery has quickly become my safe haven for just that. Their baked goods are made fresh. So far I've tried their blueberry muffin - incredible, and they're mini flan - otherworldly. The shortbread that sits under the flan was perfectly light and the flan wasn't too sweet but had good body to it. Service is always great. Everyone is always patient with me when I'm taking 20 business minutes to decide what I want. And I love that the atmosphere is generally calm even when it's busy.

Mocha tres leches cake (candle not included)
Pauline S.

I was researching the best place to order a Tres Leches cake in San Diego and this bakery kept popping up. I ordered a round Mocha Tres Leches cake for my husband's birthday a week in advance and it looked and tasted delicious! Perfect amount of moist and lots of fruit on top. The place had many 2-4 person tables available and it was pretty busy on a Thursday morning, which is how you know this place is good! The place was clean and light. I was in a bit of a rush to pick up the cake, so unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to try their other pastries. Highly recommend Su Pan for their Tres Leches cake!!

Friend raved about this place, but carne asada was attached to thick strands of fat and gristle. Tried it again for some reason. Not good.

I wanted something quick for lunch and saw that this had good reviews so decided to check it out…read more It's located in the back of the liquor store and once you place your order you can pay up front. I went with a godfather sandwich and the first thing I noticed is that the sandwich is absolutely stuffed. They are not shy about putting meat in here which I appreciate as sometimes sandwich spots give a less than desirable amount. I was also surprised at how good the Dutch crunch I chose tasted (it had a slight chew but was also fluffy at the same time). It definitely wasn't the cheapest sandwich (after tax it was around 19 bucks) but based on the ingredients and amount of meat I'd say it's fair value!

The service was smooth, timely, and stress-free, which made hosting so much easier. I'll definitely be ordering again and highly recommend them for any event or gathering!

Mom had a pepper steak and I think that's the fastest I've seen her gobble up a sandwich. The meat was chewy and well seasoned. Cheese does not overpower making it a good combo with the peppers and onions. I had the Father Joe - meatball sub. I know an unusual choice but I've been dying for a good one for a while. This one didn't disappoint. Spicy sauce with perfectly sized meatballs made from beef, not pork. Have to also say something silly. Their soda fountain was great. C lately wherever I've gone sodas have felt off. Their mix was just right - I always have Dr Pepper. Hands down the fries were a huge hit. Mine were garlic and parsley. We enjoyed that they were crispy on the outside and soft inside. The staff was friendly and the interior reminded me of a cross between Philly and NY - brought back some nice childhood memories.

San Diego Blenders is a MUST-VISIT!…read more I'm a local here in San Diego, and I've got to say, San Diego Blenders is hands down my favorite spot for a smoothie. What really makes this place special, though, is the people. The staff is super friendly, always smiling, and they make you feel like a regular even if it's your first time. They clearly care about their customers and take pride in what they do. The smoothies themselves are amazing. They use fresh, high-quality ingredients, and you can tell. I usually go for the mango pineapple and watermelon but I recently tried the pina colada , and it was equally delicious. You can tell that they're made with care. Plus, they're not afraid to customize your order to your liking. If you're looking for a refreshing and healthy treat with a side of genuine hospitality, look no further than San Diego Blenders. I asked her why is it that color, she told me it was the machine and the beets. I took a sip and that was not a green drink. I handed the drink back to her and told her the drink didn't taste anything like, spinach, cucumber, collard greens, lime at all. She looked mad and made me a new one, as I'm standing next to the blender, I see her putting spinach, celery and I asked for orange, not apple. She was about to give it to me and I asked her? Did you add lime, she rolled her eyes and a young man took over and added the lime. I didn't want to bother asking her about the other ingredients. I paid $14 for this drink with tip. Wow!!! What horrible service. This place has always had great customer service. I'm so sad to see that, not the case anymore. This young lady needs a refresher on how to give customer service, if she hates her job then she shouldn't be working.
