Fish Cake

Hidden neighborhood gem tbh. It's a pretty small spot but the food is great. The fish cake roll is really great and surprisingly very filling for one role. The wagyu roll is also great. Their desserts especially their crepe cakes are a nice way to end a meal

Slowly becoming our go-to. Got the gyoza and Haru maki - both very good. Son loved his Tempura udon. The "non-typical" Kobe roll and the usual Dragon roll were quite good. Sushi/sashimi always expertly prepared. Limited wait staff - so you need to be patient when they get busy.

I came to SU 20 after I saw my friend get the strawberry rose crepe cake on Instagram. After I found out it was a full service restaurant, I thought I might as well have a full meal before getting dessert. SU 20 has just about all of the classic sushi rolls you would expect, including some specials like the Fish Cake I got (see the block-shaped roll in review). My friend got a tempura roll of some sort. The dessert here has great presentation but only average taste imo. If you get there later in the day, the more interesting crepe flavors might be out. I ate there around 7pm and there wasn't anything but the blueberry one left. The strawberry green tea cheesecake was cute but not as sweet as I would've liked. Basically, come here for sushi and fancy-sounding dessert. You might be pleasantly surprised!

After a couple visits to SU 20, I'm a big fan! Amazingly fresh sushi. An excellent selection of chef rolls. Pretty desserts. Great service. On our first visit, we got the sashimi deluxe, tuna carpaccio, and a fiesta roll. As mentioned, the sushi was very fresh. This selection was enough for the two of us without any sacrifices. The sashimi deluxe included the standard selection of fish (tuna, salmon, yellow tail, red snapper). The tuna carpaccio was peppered and wrapped with a sauce that made it very tasty. The fiesta roll was fun! Our next visit, we just opted to get the sushi and sashimi for two. Again, plenty of food for two people. As with the deluxe sashimi, it had the standard selection of fish. It also came with two rolls - one standard and one chef. We've yet to try the many desserts, but one day we won't be so "good" and will break down and try one of those amazing looking cakes. The restaurant is kept extremely clean. It a smaller location then you might figure, but they make the most out of the seating arrangement. The staff is on top of everything! Come in and enjoy...

The fish is really fresh and this platter in particular had otoro! I don't think I have seen that at many other places for the tuna option unless you paid extra for it. They also have a bakery section with pre sliced cakes. We got 2 slices last week, very good although a little expensive for cake. I've also gotten chirashi and sushi lunch. All very delicious!

We've ordered takeout from SU 20 a few times, but this was our first time dining in. The food was delicious as per usual. We ordered the Tri-Color Three Way and it was so dang good!!!! The tri-color roll was our favorite of the night. Their salmon sashimi always melts in my mouth! We tried the chu-toro and the o-toro (which was $8 per piece market price) and we actually liked the chu-toro better (for only $5). We'll definitely be getting that again. The dining room is pretty simple, which is fine, but I really wish they gave you a cloth napkin. I was going through the few paper napkins they gave us quickly and when I asked the waitress for more napkins, she gave us 1 each. Sometimes it's the little things that just elevate an experience. It's BYOB so don't forget your wine and if you're too full for their impressive desserts, take one to go!

new go-to sushi spot If that doesn't deserve sirens, then idk what does. Was recommended this place from a friend and it did not disappoint. Large variety of rolls at an amazing price point. The sushi is so fresh and delicious!!! We ordered takeout and it was ready in 15 mins - v quick! We will absolutely be making this our spot. The ambience is nice as well if you are looking to dine in. I'm excited to try more rolls and something from their bakery!

Excellent food and excellent service. The owner was very accommodating for our party of 10. Everything was delicious and presented beautifully.

Delicious sushi at SU20! This is a very cute, very clean, very friendly tucked away little sushi restaurant. It's a little hard to see, and there's another sushi place nearby, so I worry a little about their visibility. Inside the restaurant is great. There is limited seating, but the night I was there it was not crowded. There is "bar" seating, table seating, and one round booth area that is slightly more private. This place is BYOB so do not expect to be able to order a drink - but bring a bottle of wine! The wait staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable and helpful with ordering! The options were all the classic sushi rolls, plus some interesting variations. My dad and I ordered the following: pork gyoza - delicious, the best we've had anywhere local California roll - classic, fresh, crisp Nine heavenly roll - overall our favorite thing we ordered. I don't like anything gooey or with a lot of sauce, but the topping on this was subtle and perfect. Perfect roll - this was shrimp tempura with a twist, perfectly done. I highly recommend this place, and hope they survive the slightly unfortunate location!

This was our second time here and it was so good! Big fan of the Tuna Pizza - just like Morimoto! The service and food is awesome. And to top it off, they have a 1st Class pastry chef knocking out some top notch cheesecakes, tiramisu and other awesome desserts!

There is a Premium wine and spirits very close by and my husband and I were able to walk in and get seats at the sushi bar. Service was excellent, everyone was nice and helpful. The place has good energy and all the guests looked like they were having a fabulous time. We had the Wagyu dumplings, best and fabulous bite!!! So flavorful with tender melt in your mouth filling. Then we had Toro Sashimi Appetizer, fatty tuna, yummy. Small but powerful bite was the sea bass tempura, perfection! Cold Platter with oysters, shrimp and lobster. My husband took care of the oysters, I had the shrimp and we split the lobster which was second best bite of the night. I have to admit the Wagyu & Uni Handroll was neither of our thing, can't recommend. Third best flavor was the shrimp & Honeycrisp apple salad. The Shrimp & Lobster fried rice was prepared perfectly! Highly recommend this place. Don't let the location stop you.

So far, I have been here twice. It is a little bit out of the way for me to frequent. However, if I…read morelived nearby, I would be here once a week for sure. They have the two most important elements that make for outstandingly excellent sushi, and even more exciting, poke; those are extremely fresh fish and ingredients and a small, little, family-owned atmosphere with a great attitude and care that can only be administered by a small place like this. The bowls of poke are bright and beautiful, with all the wonderful ingredients and sauces you can imagine. Not only do you have the ability to make them any way you see fit, they showcase their regular customers' orders as named specials on the wall so that you can order what others have enjoyed thoroughly, and maybe find something exciting and new! Unfortunately, during my initial visit here, I did not snap any photos of the poke bowl, but on my second trip, I was feeling in more of a sushi mood, and managed to get a picture of my sushi box! I love that they pack in actual yuzu leaves for flair and flavor, and everything has variety from the chef's choice and still maintained the absolute freshness that I had expected from my first time here. I will be returning here whenever I am nearby and cannot say enough about how wonderful this little place is. From what I have seen, it is a husband and wife alone that manage Toyota, with occasional other staff to help, but they are excited and eager to help and get you whatever you need, and to build lasting relationships with people that come in the door. They are trying to build that extended family that sets a small restaurant apart and doing a great job of it through their unrivaled mastery of the poke bowl. So do yourself a favor and stop into this tiny, almost unnoticeable strip mall, and make this home yours.

Solid choice for sushi, but I recently found out it's a pretty solid choice for Thai food as well…read more I've lost count of how many times I've gotten Massaman Curry for takeout. For about $16 I get a huge bowl that is two meals for me. It is LOADED with vegetables (green beans, potato, carrot, onion, broccoli, red pepper, and green pepper, which I normally ask to be left out) and chicken, which is my protein of choice. I also like to add some spice and some pineapple. It comes with white rice on the side, but you can get brown if you prefer. I recently ate in house with a friend. It's very casual and simple. The booth was clean and comfortable and the room was quiet with the exception of people talking at the other tables (there may have been some music). The service was very friendly (as they always are when I get take out) and helpful with all the questions my friend had. They were accommodating to her allergies, having no issues with additions and substitutions. She got Thai rice with Shrimp and I can confirm it was very good. Lots of flavor in the rice and the shrimp was grilled to perfection. Before we left she got green curry to go for her girlfriend and the report back was that it was delicious.

I ordered the Crazy Roll and a yellowtail scallion hand roll. The food was just okay. The hand roll was unraveling and the wrap was tough. I've had better sushi from here before that my son brought home, so the quality seems inconsistent. They offer specials, party trays, Thai options, and have a small dine in area that appears clean. Overall, between the uneven service and average food, I wasn't impressed and I'm not sure I'd return.
