So I looked on yelp read some reviews and decided on Schwartz Salon and Spa. And by my surprise there was an evening appointment available with Chelsea. She was very lovely kind and caring. She made my hair feel and look fantastic. I'm 50 dark hair until the grays started to invade so, she blended them quite well with highlights and a healthy trim. I love my hair again thank you.

I almost cried when I saw the end result. So went back to my post in hopes that I'll find someone who can fix the f**very cause this is bad! I was so excited to see her again after 11 months of not getting my hair cut due to having a crappy job who worked me ragged. But on the day of my appointment , she sent a confirmation text at 9:06 am and my appointment which was at 10:30 am . She cancelled the appointment at 9:58 am, no warning about this policy or anything, not a " hey, look out for a confirmation text " etc. I'm a person who barely has the time to take care of myself . I am also a new mother , and now that I'm on maternity leave, I thought I could finally get a haircut . The reason why I was unable to answer her text was because I was breastfeeding my baby, burping him and then giving him to his father so I can leave to get to my appointment on time . I arrived at 10:20 am and that's when I looked at my text messages . My phone was also on silent so it wouldn't disturb the baby. I pleaded with her and all she said was that she was sorry . If I only knew about the policy or if a confirmation text was sent at least a day ahead I would have confirmed . I am now crying in my car , maybe it's the hormones I don't know . But the fact I am being punished for other people not showing to her appointments is ridiculous . I don't know how someone can be this cold hearted to a customer .

At the spur of the moment, I called this Salon since it was in my area to see if they had availability and they invited me to go in. I was originally interested in getting highlights. I went in during the day since they were not busy. The girls seemed very nice and took time to discuss highlighting options, then we discussed suggestions for a haircut. I decided to let Kyra (not sure of the spelling) cut my hair. She took quite a while to cut my hair and when she showed me the back I had to hold my breath and bite my tongue. The layers she cut looked as if a 4 yearold had taken dull scissors to my hair. I mentioned that the layers didn't look even, but she assured me they were. I paid and left. I also hit the 30 percent tip by accident, but the Mgr said there was no way for her to void the transaction and re--ring it. SMH. I didn't even want to look at it again after I got home. A few days later I washed my hair and blew dried it and styled it, but I was still just as disappointed with the cut. Now, I can't get highlights because they will only exaggerate the butchered layers. The Mgr wanted me to go back in so she can fix the cut, but i don't want to because the layers have already been cut a lot shorter and the odds of being able to blend them correctly will most likely require cutting off a lot more of my hair. I'm stuck for at least another 6 months to let it grow, and then hopefully, I will find another Stylist that might be able to blend the layers and give me a quality haircut. I am VERY disappointed in my experience at Salon Envy.
