CLEANLINESS: It has always been super important for salons to be properly sanitized but especially during covid this should be a priority. This location does eyebrow threading which makes this especially important. I sat across from where they did eyebrows my entire time being there and not once in between clients did they sanitize anything. They didn't wear gloves, they would take down their mask when working with clients that were (presumably) regulars, and they never sanitized anything that they or their clients touched (or anyone that was unnecessarily brought with them which was also frequent). Sanitation is not a priority in this establishment. HAIRCUT PROCESS: I booked an appointment online for a colour and cut with Benjie, I heard back from him quickly but he needed to move my appointment time and was not professional about it. He texted me without even saying who he was and just automatically asked if I could do a couple hours later than what I initially booked without reason. I went with it at first to try and be flexible but then he moved me around four more times, once without even asking first! I went from noon to 2:30, 2, 10, and finally to 11. Once I got to the salon the staff at the front were all super kind and helpful but when I went back to actually start the process things got weird. He did everything in the most bizarre order and started dying my hair from the roots! (I was trying to go lighter and have natural red hair that was dyed brown) Because of this I got bad hot roots, a colour I didn't want, and on top of that an insanely choppy haircut. After he was done cutting my hair he styled it without asking and then asked to take pictures because he "likes how it turned out" (he likes to cover his ass.) he totally covered it up to where I couldn't tell until I combed through it. The best part? I was there for three hours! It was a total waste of time and money going there and when I requested a refund he argued about it and tried to convince me to let him fix it! I ended up going somewhere else to get it fixed but it is way too short now which really sucks because I work in food service and really struggle getting it under a hairnet now, I still haven't fixed the colour anymore than I can myself. None of my concerns were addressed before, during, or after my time there. They were unprofessional, and did a bad job. read more

I asked for a reverse balayage on my bleached hair. They nailed the level 5 brown color, but I left the salon with harsh, uneven green highlights (were supposed to be blonde). I wouldn't be angry if they had tried harder to fix it, as the look wasn't even remotely wearable. Don't get your hair done here if you have previously processed hair, especially without a consultation because the hairdressers here are obviously quite inexperienced in color theory. They did do a good job on my keratin treatment though, and if I had a consultation the appointment may have gone better. read more

Went in for a color correction. And lightning/toner. I told them I wanted a slightly shadowed root as well. I was made the think that they knew what they were doing and told me what they could and couldn't do. But nothing was clear and the inspiration picture i showed them must have been nothing but a picture to them. They completely ruined my hair. They didn't brush my hair one time in the entire 5 hours I was there ! Color correction and wash then back to the chair to bleach and they didn't section my hair they didn't brush my hair . They started on the roots and were so slopy that they got the dark root shadow color onto my already blonde hair by letting it fall and smear into it. They literally didn't care. They rinsed it out after I sat in the chair for over 30 minutes staring at myself in the mirror and seeing all the mistakes that the girl had made. So I finally said something about how I felt about what was being done and she blamed it on race. Because she is Latino. I couldn't fucking believe it. She said the lady doing ur hair is embarrassed and I didn't even know what to do at that point. Race has absolutely nothing to do with hair coloring. Horrible experience. read more
