He strolled in 20min late for the appt. His ignorance and unprofessionalism mixed with a lack of talent should immediately disqualify him from ever touching someone's hair, again. He stated he teaches at Pau Mitchell. God help those people. They gave me a refund in the cut but not the tip. Hence the 2 stars instead of 1. The receptionist had a negative vibe. I'm from Denver. This was kind of a podunk salon to me but I guess Winter Park finds it suitable. Ryan cut me with a razor he uses all day. I could get a disease from his poor technique. He also cut me and didn't say anything. Coward. Edit to respond: Unhappy? A blind person can cut hair better than Ryan. There's no "feeling". It's a fact that he cut my hair like an amateur. I went to another salon. They said you hire anyone and that complaints about the quality of hair cuts is something other salons are aware of. Why would I return to allow him to continue or butcher my hair? My neck was bleeding. Your salon is trash. The photos I provided are proof. What a dumb way to try and side step responsibility. Calling you unprofessional would be too high of praise. You manage your salons like Ryan cuts hair. Regardless of the review I'm going to the doctor and I'm calling code enforcement.

Came across this randomly and was SO impressed with not only their accommodations for hijabis (a fully furnished private room with full sink, tools, etc) but also how kind the entire staff was! Anjelica washed my hair & Dina cut it, and they were both SO kind and sweet and talented. When the wait between wash/cut was a bit extended, Anjelica offered tea/coffee in between. They also recommended a place I can donate hair too. The cut was super cute and overall I left feeling very satisfied and happy. This is a fantastic salon -- from their diversity to accommodating, kind staff to skilled services to very reasonable prices. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a haircut, whether you need the private room or not!

After my consultation, I had my hair shampooed and conditioned before returning to the chair for my cut. I really appreciated the extra care she put into styling my hair. Overall, I had a great experience at Mosaic for my first visit.

Unfortunately, the person who cut my hair did not do it properly and the situation made me feel worse when he basically chose to tell me I'm wrong. To start things off, I'll say the place is very nice and reminds me of a coffee shop. People are very nice and will even give you complimentary refreshments. Parking can be a little difficult since it's in Ivanhoe area. For my haircut, all I needed was a trim. The agreement was just maintaining most of the length and let the hair have some flow and texture towards the top. The guy even ran his hands through my hair to follow the direction it grows in. Next thing I know, he's combining my hair in the opposite direction and cutting. At first I thought it was some technique I'd never seen before. But turns out he fully intended for my hair to go in that direction. At the end, I asked why he cut my hair that way if originally he was even moving my hair in the proper direction. His response was that my hair wants to grow in the direction he cut. I chose not to argue since it had already been done and at that point I didn't trust him to fix it anyways. However, I do know he's wrong. My hair naturally falls in the direction seen in my picture as it dries. Now it has a weird shape on the sides with no life at the top. I'm sure these people are well trained, however I had a bad experience and will not be returning.

I've been…read moreto many stylists there before and have never had a bad experience, but this time there was a major misunderstanding. Now I'm left with a haircut that still looks bad, even after the owner tried to fix it. No matter what they did, it didn't turn out right. The cut is very uneven and disconnected, and there's a noticeable section where a large piece of hair is missing. I honestly wouldn't recommend going with a junior stylist based on my experience. This has really affected my confidence. My hair took about three years to grow out, and now it's gone--it will take months to recover. I've had bad haircuts before, but this is by far the worst. Also, during the same visit, I wasn't offered water or soda like I have been on previous visits, which stood out to me.

Unfortunately, I'm reaching out to you as my recent experience left me very frustrated and disappointed. I came in for a root touch-up, left with orange roots, and even more concerning, I experienced significant breakage in areas that shouldn't have been touched during this service. When I reached out to discuss these concerns, the response I received was defensive and dismissive. Rather than taking the time to understand what may have gone wrong, I was told the breakage must have been due to something I did at home. For a $482.66 service, I expected more accountability and an open dialogue about what might have happened, as well as how future issues could be prevented. I understand that going blonde can be tricky, but this outcome and the response I've received are not reflective of the quality I was expecting from Privé. I hope to understand your perspective on this and how Privé plans to ensure situations like this are handled with more care, transparency and professionalism moving forward. Thank you for your time, and I look forward to hearing from you. Best, Jasmine
