I had the experience of my Credit Card being inadvertently charged twice (the first swipe appeared to have been unsuccessful but, in fact, it had gone through). When I saw it on my statement I went back to Herby's and there was no hesitation ... my card was credited for the extra charge. There is no way a big box store would provide such service, as I am sure the big box store would tell me "Accounting" would check into it and get back to me in a month or so. Anyways, great stuff, really great prices and great staff. What more can one want?

The item that I wanted to buy didn't have a markdown label on it while almost every other item had the original price tag as well as an orange tag to indicate it was marked down. I brought the item to the cashier and it pulled up at the original price when she rang it up. So I mentioned that it should be marked down at least 20% from that price according to their own posters all over inside and outside the store, but she said that is the price it pulled up as and she can do nothing about it! So I asked her to call the manager whom she tried to call but after about 10 minutes of going back and forth she said was "not available at this time". So because I needed the item and didn't have the time to hang around, I paid for it and walked out, but I felt ripped off and will not go back to this particular location again.
