Stuffed is a dumpling concept. They have several types of dumplings that are either pan fried, deep fried or steamed. They also have some dessert options. We got the Szechuan pork and chive dumplings, deep fried kimchi and pork dumplings and the red sugar fried rice cakes. I really liked the szechuan dumplings. They were in a delicious sauce. I could have gotten an extra order of them. I didn't like the fried rice cakes. Whatever they drizzled on top tasted like molasses. They were too sweet. We didn't finish them. Overall I liked this food stall. There was a small issue with me knowing that my order was ready. I never got the text message from them. They apologized but it wasn't a big deal. Pork dumplings, vegetable bun yummy!!

Loved my dumplings from Stuffed! A dumpling restaurant in Urban Market food district. I loved the shrimp dumplings and the pork dumplings and the vegetables bun. They were delicious!! Groups of 4 or 6 dumplings and bun comes individually. I liked the variety and the flavors. Awesome dumplings! I had three orders and it was about $20. Totally worth it! Great service too. You get a text when your order is ready. Cute kids' play area inside too. Urban Market has other food options and you eat at a community table. The parking is tight but we found some in a walkable distance.

These were very good dumplins. I'm not really a dumplins person but I said why not try. The stuffed schezuan dumpling were great. I love spice and they were the perfect spice. You won't be disappointed. I received 4 pieces for 6.99.

Pork and chive dumplings - regular and Szechuan.

Incredible dumplings - I loved both preparations. 10/10 will. The pork was flavorful and a nice amount of chives. I wish the regular had been hot instead of warmish, but so tasty. The hot chili oil was perfectly tingly and spicy.

Decor and bathrooms were nice. Service was great. The food was very good- I enjoyed the starter we got: Tiradito Nikkei- it wasn't at all what I was expecting for a ceviche but it was delicious nonetheless. I got the salmon entree and it was fantastic- I inhaled it. My boyfriend got the sirloin dish and it came out veeeery rare (he ordered medium rare). We could have asked them to cook it more, so no harm there, but the meat was very chewy so he didn't enjoy his meal as much. I got a pisco mule and that was delicious, I love the cups and plates they use- very aesthetic. Would come back, but I do prefer the restaurant Yunta a bit more for the same type of food and atmosphere.

My only suggestion would be to space the smaller tables out more. It's very tight. The service was good too. I didn't like the first spot we were sat at & upon asking, they moved us without issue. So I appreciate that consideration. I only got a pic of my meal, but we also had appetizers that were good too.

Fortunately they had small platters, ramens, soups, and other dishes you can choose from if you do not want the bbq. The place is pretty clean, the service is fast. Don't believe I had to wait more than 10 minutes for the food to be served. The server is also very kind as she not only made sure we were taken care of, but also explained things about each dishes like the stone bowl and how it was affect my meal. The parking to the place is behind the shop and though you have to register for the spot where you park, it isn't costly (was free when we went).

I had bookmarked Gyu-Kaku for lunch because they advertised a happy hour special on LA kalbi--one…read moreof my favorite comfort foods. I've enjoyed Korean barbecue many times, so when I saw the price, I thought I had found a great midday option. Unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to expectations. The happy hour kalbi turned out to be four small pieces of meat for $9.95, which I had to cook myself. A bowl of rice was an additional charge, and there were no sides, vegetables, soup, or salad included. I left the restaurant still hungry, which is never a good sign after lunch. What disappointed me most was the lack of guidance and hospitality. As someone new to Japanese-style barbecue, I asked a few simple questions to understand what I was ordering. When I confirmed this was the happy hour portion, the server said yes--but didn't explain the serving size or suggest additional items. A little coaching would have gone a long way. At one point, when I asked whether the meal came with sides like banchan or rice, I was told, "This is not Korean barbecue." I completely understand the distinction now, but the tone felt curt rather than helpful. Hospitality is about helping guests navigate something unfamiliar, not making them feel like they should already know. I also ordered iced water with lemon, and the lemon never arrived...only the ice water. Was this an omen of what's to come?? Another frustration was the parking situation. I paid for parking through ParkMobile outside the restaurant, only to discover after entering that parking validation was available inside. That information would have been much more useful if it had been communicated clearly before guests park or pay. From a customer experience standpoint, it feels like something that could easily be improved with better signage--lead with the good stuff. The location itself is also somewhat isolated. While technically in Uptown, it's not in a particularly walkable or high-traffic area, so most guests will need to park in a garage or pay for street parking. There isn't much nearby other than an apartment complex above the restaurant, which makes clear parking instructions and strong service even more important. To be fair, the restaurant was clean, and the meat itself was flavorful. The concept of Japanese BBQ is interesting, and I now understand that this style is very different from Korean BBQ, with smaller, à-la-carte portions designed to be built into a meal. That said, the overall experience felt transactional rather than welcoming. I left hungry--and disappointed--not because of the food quality, but because the service and communication could have been better at several points along the way. This visit felt like a missed opportunity. With a little more attentiveness, clearer guidance, and stronger customer engagement, the experience could have been completely different. Don't let one restaurant deter you. Life is short--get out there and eat.

He gave good recommendations and, when there was a mistake with my order, immediately apologized and fixed it without hesitation. Very polite and professional. Now the Wonton Soup was hidden star of the meal and for less than $3!!! I ordered it without scallions, and the broth was very flavorful. The wontons tasted homemade. The wrapper wasn't my favorite, but the filling was meaty and delicious enough that I finished every bite. The sushi I tried was the Steak Tataki with soybean wrapper. The flavor was as you'd expect with teriyaki sauce, but don't expect rare steak. The sushi rice was seasoned really well, though! Glazed Shrimp Similar to walnut shrimp with a thick, sweet sauce. The shrimp was perfectly cooked, although the tempura batter wasn't as crunchy as I'd hoped, understandable once it's tossed in the sauce. I squeezed some of the orange garnish over a bite, and the acidity actually balanced the sweetness really well. The broccoli seemed mostly decorative since it didn't have much seasoning beyond the sauce. Overall, it was a good experience with great service, a nice atmosphere, and the winner dish being the wonton soup!
