But the next morning I asked the owner if it was okay if I left a half hour after their 10:30 checkout and at he said okay. After I thanked him and before I was able to ask for a recommendation for a breakfast place he went wacky. He asked me not to tell him how to run his business and told me to f-off. I grabbed my stuff and checked into the Red Pine just down the street. The owner, Rusty's a nice guy. I also recommend the Benedict at Breakfast on Broadway.

However, there is some water damage to the room that I was in. None of the rooms are smoking. The $65 rooms are very small, and the walls are very thin. The $75 rooms, on the other hand are pretty large and spacey. The only issue is that the bathrooms are in a major need of a remodel. The location is very convenient though. Being in the directly in the middle of SoBo. A very short distance from downtown and Broadway station. The customer service was very great. The owner cares about his hotel and you can tell by speaking to him. If there were any problems he was very helpful. All in all, this motel is one of the better motels in the Broadway area. If you don't want to spend $90+ on a hotel then The Wright Motel is the right motel for you.

At $100 a night you will find that the rooms are dirty and the sides and corners of the bathroom floors caked with dirt. We found a dead mouse under our bed. Guests aren't allowed to have anyone else enter their room to even visit or will be thrown out with no refund. During my stay, the owner entered my room, walked around the room and freaked out when he saw a bathroom towel on the floor, picked it up and yelled at me but totally ignored the fact that I had used the towel to clean the bathroom floor to see how dirty it made the towel. He told me that our other guest had not paid for another night even though we were told he did and made us leave the room immediately. We had to set our belongings outside the door to move our stuff to another hotel in two trips, and when we returned to get the rest of our clothes, to our horror the old guy who cleans the rooms and lives on the premises, had taken glasses of water that had spoons with peanut butter on them and dumped the contents onto our clothes saying " that's what your clothes are worth". It is a crazy madhouse at this motel and is not recommended considering the price and strange personalities. You can stay at many other motels and hotels in the area for the same price with no harassment whatsoever.

What an adorable hotel! Located in a fairly quiet part of Lakewood, this Best Western is…read moreDINOSAUR/ARCHEOLOGY THEMED(!) which was an automatic booking for me and hubs. We loved the whole aesthetic and the hotel itself was pretty quiet and clean. We had a room that was facing the pool and on the first floor. The people above us were annoying as hell and stomping around (not unlike the dinosaurs that were represented throughout the property) and the kids at the pool were also loud and annoying as hell. I asked to change rooms but it was impossible since they were booked solid, so I settled for standing at the window and giving them all the "Kubrick stare" until they got creeped out and shut up. The room itself was spacious enough for two and the beds were comfy. The air conditioning worked well and the water pressure in the shower was good. Plenty of parking, too. One star off because they didn't have many gluten free breakfast options outside of fruit and hard boiled eggs, but I expect in 10 yrs when we all have various degrees of allergies and gluten intolerance, the options will be better.

One in my party was mot able to get a refund for his last day when he had to leave earl and gave early notice of same. I do not think our two double room party was shown much appreciation for the THOUSANDS we spent on this recurring visit.

Thanks Katie! The hotel is conveniently located to an urban center in walking distance to lil shops, restaurants and fitness options. Parking is onsite and ample. The Inside lobby and outdoor patio are large with several lounge areas for gatherings with your group. There is a small souvenir and amenity shop. The coffee/breakfast area is plentiful and features proteins like eggs a few ways, breakfast meats, cheese, yoghurt and carb fair like oatmeal, breads and fruits. Delicious for all! Definitely a perfect spot for wedding parties, events, date night and family reunions. The beds were comfortable, the room clean and quiet, and we appreciated the extra kitchen living space.

Pretty disappointing stay…read more The Wi-Fi in my room would not work, and when I called the front desk because I needed internet for work, I was told that the Wi-Fi was working for employees and that I should "see how it is tomorrow." The problem with that answer is that I was checking out the next morning. I also asked if I could switch rooms in case the issue was specific to my room, but apparently that was not an option either. So the solution to having no usable Wi-Fi was basically: wait until after my stay is over. Technical problems happen. What made this frustrating was the complete lack of problem-solving or urgency. For a hotel in 2026, reliable Wi-Fi should not be this difficult to address. Definitely not a Hyatt property I would choose again.

This is our favorite hotel for our annual visit. Very nice & spacious open-concept interior,…read moreextremely well-maintained (we've stayed here at least 3 times), great complimentary breakfast, comfortable & clean updated rooms, & great location. Kimberly checked us in early. She was super nice, one of the nicest hotel staff we have encountered. She gave us welcome bottled waters and popcorn. There's a coffee maker & a small fridge w/o a freezer in the room. Love the breakfast set up. They have 3-4 hot item, breads, yogurt, juices, dairy & nondairy milks, 2 Belgian waffle makers, 3 types of fresh fruits, 3 types of cereal, yogurt, oatmeal, & coffee. There is ample seating just in front of the breakfast buffet/dining room, so you'll have no problem finding a table & chairs, and you can spread out while enjoying breakfast. Last but not least, I love the gym with 24 hour access. It has elliptical machines, treadmills, free weights, & 2 weight benches, adequate for a full workout.

Traveling With Kids? Think Twice…read more What should have been a simple family hotel stay turned into one of the most stressful travel experiences I've ever had. I arrived just before midnight with my two children after completing mobile check-in through the Marriott Bonvoy app earlier and having a confirmed reservation. After multiple trips between the front desk and the room because our key would not work, staff finally opened the door--only for us to discover that another guest was already staying in the room that had been assigned to us. At that point, my children were exhausted and ready for bed. Instead of resolving the situation, I was told there were no rooms available for us, despite my confirmed reservation. It was incredibly upsetting to be standing in a hotel lobby late at night with two tired children and nowhere to sleep. To make matters worse, I watched other guests check in after me while I was being told there was no room for my family. The hotel ultimately sent us to a Comfort Inn at another location. We didn't have a car and had to arrange transportation in the middle of the night. By the time we arrived, it was 2am. The replacement hotel was old, dirty, and nowhere near the quality of the hotel I had booked. My children had difficulty sleeping, and what should have been a restful night became a frustrating and exhausting ordeal. I was promised that a manager would contact me to discuss what happened, but that call never came. No explanation, no accountability, and no attempt to make things right. Families depend on hotels to provide the basic security of knowing they have a room waiting for them at the end of a long day. Unfortunately, that did not happen here. Being left without a room after midnight with two children despite a confirmed reservation is something no family should have to experience. Gold Elite status, confirmed reservation, checked in with room assigned all meant nothing.
