My Girlfriend and I went for Botox . Didnt like the doc , he never listened to what i suggested ( as I had incredible results with Botox previously but it was done in another state ) . he did what he wanted to do , pretty sure he did not get me 20 units .. * Updated Review - 7/26/13 Updating my review based on my most recent experience. I had previously given LaserTouch 5 stars (see review dated 5/2/11 below). I updated my review with 1 star because of bad service once (see review dated 6/5/13). However, after that visit, I received an email from LaserTouch with an apology, and a solution to remedy the issue (free touch-ups and a free microdermabrasion). I was pleasantly surprised and took them up on the offer. How often does a business take the initiative to remedy a mistake? Everyone deserves a second chance, right? Hence, I am reinstating the 5 stars. * Previous review (6/5/13) 1) The regular technician, Jennifer Ann, is no longer with LaserTouch. 2) They changed their price policy. 3) I booked an appointment and specifically asked for Jennifer Ann. I was not informed that Jennifer Ann was not there and that there was a change in pricing. 4) I walked 30+ minutes to their location on a sweltering hot day only to be told that Jennifer Ann is no longer there and they will be charging me a different price than what I was previously paying. They told me that they didn't tell me that over the phone because they didn't want to lose me as a customer and would rather have me come in. 5) I left thinking "They just lost me as a customer." read more

Komal is a gift and I love her. I used to go to Pulse, but when Komal moved here I had to follow. Definitely ask for her when you're booking laser hair removal. She's the best! read more

I usually don't post Yelp reviews but I feel as though I have to because I had such an awful experience here. I went to the Soho location and during my time at LaserTouch, I was getting laser hair removal on my legs. After one of my treatments the skin on my legs began to hurt and it turns out I had all of these red scabs all over my legs. Once the scabs went away, I was left with white spots all over my legs where the pigment had disappeared. I went to my dermatologist to have it looked at and he said that the laser was too strong and it left me with hypo-pigmentation. I had to go to get laser treatments at the dermatologist twice a week for 3 months in order to get the pigment back in my skin. It cost me $6,000 to fix it. To make things worse Laser Touch refused to give me any kind of refund. Do not waste your money here!! They are the worst. read more

Absolutely love Komal! She does such a thorough job with my laser hair removal and tries her best to make it less painful.

Currently a client here at Laser Touch Soho for full body laser hair removal. I cane during a promotional special they were offering in the fall/winter of 2010. I would say that the area's are clean, dust free, and friendly all the time. I have been to previous places that have had higher prices, and worse staff. Worse in terms of requesting a tip, complaining when you do not give one. A tip is optional, and no one should be forced to give one. Especially when you are paying well over $1,000 for each session at six or seven sessions. I have been approached by more than one technician about this. This made me very uncomfortable and have mentioned it to those members, that by asking for a tip, you will not last this long. I was obviously was speaking generally, and was in no way threatening. Needless to say those technicians no longer work with Laser Touch Soho anyway. so it serves them right. The manager/ owners are courteous towards a women's needs for laser hair removal. My experiences are pretty good, and have no other complaints, I take my treatments like a champ, shave everything beforehand, put SPF 100 on daily, and the staff takes my payments happily with a smile. I give five stars on overall time going there, their patience, and great care for me as a client. :) I would definitely recommend. read more

I started getting laser almost a year ago with another women/company. Unfortunately her laser wasn't the newest and it wasn't working on me. So she referred me to Laser Touch Aesthetics in Soho. Stating how amazing they are. Going with her word I made an appointment and came in. The girls at the front desk were so friendly & nice. Jessica was my girl she has been doing my Brazilian every time. She is so friendly and nice - I feel comfortable with her and the pricing is so affordable. I highly recommend Jessica & Laser Touch Soho! My skin is smooth & hairless read more

I came here after purchasing a Groupon for $99 for a Laser Genesis treatment valued at $249, which is pricey for that treatment but I figured it was possibly because this was a nicer spa? (i was wrong.) I am new to the NYC area and have been trying to find a spa worth my money. I am not new to laser treatments, facials, injectables, and have been getting this particular facial regularly for the past 5 years. Upon making my appointment I was told I would first have a skin consultation (expected) then receive the laser treatment. I arrived and spoke with the receptionists who were very nice and approachable. I was quickly taken back to the treatment room, which eerily resembled an old insane asylum. It wasn't disgusting or dirty but wasn't particularly polished or clean- plain, white, old, lifeless. Everything was unorganized and kind of looked like it was thrown into the room... Maybe this is where they keep the people who don't pay full price. :) Then things took a turn for the worse.. The technician asked me if I had makeup on. I responded yes because I had just come from work. She told me to go to the bathroom and wash my face with soap before the procedure.. hand soap.. I'm sorry, but if I paid $99 for a $249 laser FACIAL, I expect my face to be cleansed by the tech as well. I've never had someone tell me to go wash my face in the bathroom for a laser facial before. Once I came back she laid me down and started to zap away. She maybe spoke three words to me the entire time. No consultation, no comment at all about the condition of my skin. I even brought up the fact that I had a bad breakout and wasn't sure why, to which she replied "Oh. Yeah. It could be anything." The treatment itself was useless and a complete waste of my time. I mentioned to her that I was very familiar with Laser Gen and had been receiving the treatment bi-monthly for two years. She must have ignored my comment and kept it on the lowest setting- I did not feel any heat at all during the procedure and my face looked and felt exactly the same afterward. I can normally feel improvement in tightness immediately after, which is why I love this treatment so much. Needless to say this is the worst experience I have ever had receiving a laser treatment and I wont be returning. I wouldn't pay $5 to do this again let alone $99. $249 is just comical. read more

A year ago, I read about a new procedure of injecting Botox into the jawline to thin the face. I decided to give it try since people have been getting Botox injections and I had not heard about any catastrophic side effects. I was a bit scared when I showed up but Dr. Vafa seemed professional and the whole procedure took about one minute. It stung a bit as he injected Botox on both sides of my jaw muscles. I could feel weakening of my jaw muscles a few minutes later. Full results 2 weeks later. I look like I lost 10 pounds! My hairdresser said she definitely noticed the difference. The only thing bad I noticed is that the results do go away and I need touching up after six months. So, if you are bothered by a heavy jawline, go get jawline Botox at Lasertouch. They offer a rebate when you sign up with Botox. The office is nice and close to Chanel. Nuff said. read more

great staff, prompt and clearly experienced. loved my consultation and was thrilled by how quickly they were able to book me.

I came here about... well I came I think at some point in August, in 2018. I came here for a mole removal on my face, and I can't remember exactly how I was referred here. However, the main reason I came was because there is a free consultation, which was definitely the thing I was looking for. Dr. Vafa did my procedure. He seems like a pretty nice guy, and claims to have done this procedure a bunch of times. I'm writing this review in February of 2019 (no idea when I'm gonna publish this), so it's been almost half a year. The spot where I had my mole is largely gone from my face, but there is still a mark there. I would say that if my original mole was counted as 100% of itself, I'd say there is still about 15% of it left- not because a spot was missed, but because the procedure will leave a small mark once you're finished. Perhaps in a years time, or five years time, the mark will completely go away- after all, I got a fairly noticeable scar on my leg once in the 7th grade, and now it's pretty much gone. I can leave an update, but I would say because everyone probably heals differently, it's hard to say. The bottom line is, while my mole is gone, there is still a light impression of a mark on top of where my mole used to be. However, there is no indentation in my skin, so it's still perfectly smooth. It's also important to remember that after you get a mole removal done, you shouldn't expose your wound area to sunlight, because apparently this area 'tans' excessively well, so that will leave a mark as well. What I did for a few days was wear a band aid on my face, though this is obviously kind of annoying. read more

The staff here were very professional and friendly. Julia was an excellent clinician. She made me feel comfortable, welcome and was very open and honest about the various procedures. Although the price was on the higher end, they were willing to offer me a student discount, and customise a package that suited my personal needs. I'd definitely recommend this place for facial hair removal. Awesome! read more

I came in for Carboxy stretch mark therapy. When I showed the receptionist my Lifebooker voucher, I was told they were no longer accepting them, and that I'd have to get a refund. Even though the LB voucher hadn't expired, and neither the site nor the business had informed me. Not a great start. But they told me I should go back and see the doctor for a consultation about what the service would cost normally. I was pleasantly surprised that it was much less than I thought it would be (almost less than the Lifebooker vouchers). So I agreed, and he did the procedure right then. I've noticed some improvement on a couple of marks, but not the majority of them. He told me I should book again in two weeks, and we'd reassess, as it can take several sessions. CO2 injections don't grow on trees, so I'm still on the fence about whether I'll be back, or if I might look somewhere else, or forget about it entirely. read more

Suggested a 4% lidocaine instead of 5%. The first time I bought it from them for $75, the 2nd time I found the same brand on amazon for $35. The laser machine is good, but it is very expensive (even with the lifebooker/groupon deals). I think there are better options out there. read more

I have been coming here since 2010, I started with a laser hair removal package of one area, and then gradually added four more areas, pretty much everything. Once I started my first package, I realized that this business is great and perfect for me for many reasons: The technicians (specifically, Erica)-- the technician who has helped me (Erica) is very professional and an expert at finding the right settings for me. I immediately saw great results during treatments, and one of the things this location does separates it from other businesses is that they do touch ups, so if some hairs are not responding to the laser, they will do a follow-up two weeks after the treatment to make sure those hairs get zapped-- this makes it a great value for your money. I have to recommend Erica at the SoHo location because she has given me the absolutely best customer service and she has used the right settings because I have seen amazing results! I would recommend to ask for Erica because she takes excellent notes on the progress of your treatment and will take care of your skin. Some laser hair removal businesses do not have the right equipment for your color of skin, and this can result in hyper-pigmentation, or spots on your skin (I have seen it on friends who go to other places). This has NEVER happened to me at LaserTouch. They are careful with your skin. If the hair does not fall off after a treatment, however, they will make sure to make adjustments and take care of this during your touch-up visit. Plus, this business offers you a two-year maintenance period in which you come in for maintenance visits to zap whatever hairs you have-- this is an amazing value that is included in the cost of the package, so you do not pay extra for this great bonus. Please note however: I have had several technicians, and I definitely would advise you to just work with Erica; other technicians have not been as experienced, professional, courteous, nice, and patient as her. Trust me, she is the best! read more

UPDATE: I have a Groupon for laser tattoo removal and decided to give this place a shot after another clinic failed to honor their Groupon for my second appointment because their machine broke for the 3rd time. My tattoo is on my finger and highly deformed so I really needed this done. The first time I came in, the receptionists were lovely and the girl who performed my removal truly knew what she was doing. It was supposed to take a few minutes but we were in there for 10 minutes. She covered every dot of my tattoo and went over it twice and even changed the settings for some red ink I have there. She really bandaged me up really well and told me not to get it wet. The next day the difference was unbelievable. It faded so much from when I went in I was so happy. I tipped her very well. I couldn't wait for my 3rd appointment because I knew it was going to be even lighter and even less visible. Now last week completely different staff. I didn't have the best experience SOLELY due to a misunderstanding on my behalf. I left a 2-3 star review and the owner Mike called me immediately to rectify the situation. It was my day off so I came down to speak with him in person. He explained how the ink removal process works and most importantly how the machine itself works. (Trust me, you need to know how it works. Makes a world of a difference) He took time from his busy schedule and was really lovely, accommodating , understanding and generous. Mike is who every business owner should inspire to be. He personalized the experience for me and went above and beyond to be sure I was content with his practice. Will definitely be coming back. read more

I love this place and keep coming back! The laser techs are so friendly and kind. Komal in particular is great - she patiently waited for me one afternoon for hours when I was super late due to being sick and having various commuting complications. I was so thankful for her good humor and amiableness despite that. She is a sweetheart! Always get good, fast service here and would definitely recommend to others. read more

This review is specifically for Komal (re: laser hair removal) - she is truly AMAZING. I've been doing laser treatments for several years. It's hard to find someone you trust, and there are a lot of horror stories out there. Komal is a pro... she's very thorough and really knows her stuff. After our 1st session, I totally trusted her. (I also just bought several new packages with her!) Even better... she's a gem to be around. Komal has a super friendly, easygoing personality and makes you feel at ease & distracted... while you're literally being zapped! If you have been burned in the past, had a bad result, or are worried about "lasers gone wrong"... I highly recommend trying Komal. Komal is my laser angel, and I've raved about her to my friends. Had to rave here! read more

I have gotten 3 tattoo treatments thus fair and have noticed a significant amount of fading. I was a bit concerned as to why they weren't treating my color ink and thought it had to do with wanting to add more treatments but the Doctor reassured me that it's a risk of burning that may lead to scaring if both are treated simultaneously. They're very concerned with your skin- I would highly recommend them... read more

The laser technicians deserve 5 stars, but the business and owner definitely ruin it for them. I'm writing this as a CLIENT, so before the owners decide to comment back like they do whenever anyone writes a bad review, they should remind themselves that I am a client. I get treatments and I pay in full for them. Word to any business owner, NEVER reprimand a client when they cancel an appt. EVER. You will run your business to the ground, like this business is slowly succeeding in. Besides the fact that treatments at LaserTouch are way overpriced, I'm really not surprised they get such terrible reviews. It's the way that clients are treated. So if you want some respect as a over-paying customer, you won't find it here. So congratulations, you just lost yourself a customer and any recommendations that I would have given to anyone, because honestly the treatments are great. At least respect your technicians and stop losing their clients. read more

Terrible customer service. I was harresed over the phone for payment, even after I made my payment, and they could not look it up their system because their computer was slow and frozen! Thats the excuse they gave me. They never apologized for this incident and on top of that they yelled at me, when I tried to clarify the situation! And also making rest of the customers in that room uncomfortable on that process. Also be careful of their promotional gimmicks! they don't have any clear pricing and don't honor what is advertised on their website. They will find every excuse not to honor any promotion whatsoever. Stay Away!!! read more

Komal is AMAZING. I went in for my first session, nervous and anxious from previous experiences with waxing and laser hair removal (10 years ago!). She talked me through the process of using her machine, what would happen for the next few days, etc. Oh, and she gave me stress balls to hold onto during the session. My anxiety was fear based and gone as soon as she started! Absolutely no pain whatsoever. I've gone for one session so far (out of 6) and am addicted . I already called komal to schedule me in for more sessions and plan to be hairless in 2020. read more

Just moved to New York and found this place right near me. I started my laser treatments with Martha earlier this year and and am about halfway done. It's been great going to Martha as she's very professional, quick, and thorough. She's very meticulous with each treatment area. She knows I'm super sensitive to pain and always brings me ice packs in advance and keeps me distracted. Highly recommend Martha to anyone looking to any treatment at Laser touch. She's friendly and amazing to work with. read more

I would give Lasertouch Aesthetics more stars simply because this is a beautiful seemingly upscale office , but after what I witnessed yesterday I would definitely have to give it just an ok rating. upon arriving the young lady at the desk was nice, greeted me and had me have a seat while she brought my paperwork to me and offered my friend and I water. once seated my friend and I watched people come and go. although this is not what upset me , I know that others are there for different services. Once the girl who does my tattoo removal came out I was excited that my service was about to start, and this is where the inappropriate customer service came in to action, after waiting about 20 minutes to be seen I had to listen to the girl who helps me complain about how no one tips her and she does not make enough commission ,and if the person whom she was servicing did not tip her never to book her with that customer again, and blah blah blah she wined and wined for about 5 minutes as myself and 2 others sat there listing. even had the nerve to tell the 2 girls behind the desk they better get her a tip. of course this customer did not tip her and she went into another rant (or more like a tantrum , jumping up and down like a baby) about how she does this and that for the customer and never once got a tip. having the other other women who work there trying to quiet her down. over all I just wanted what I came in for and to get the heck out of there. the truth about this place is what you pay for is what you get, good equipment but only good customer service half the time. (when you're not being hinted at to leave a tip) as the customer looking in this place is quite dysfunctional. read more

LaserTouch is my personal med-spa for all my transformation needs...I actually followed Martha from LaserTouch Midtown to LaserTouch Soho. Martha is fantastic at laser hair removal, and makes me feel at ease. She's done laser hair removal on my face, neck, legs, arms, and bikini. I have a medium-to-dark skin complexion and Martha knows the right settings. She is excellent at what she does, and always has a smile and professional demeanor. I've been a client of LaserTouch for some time now and request Martha whenever she's available. First, I want to say I'm not one to leave reviews but how can you not when the service is soo bomb! I've gotten laser hair removal done before but it was always crazy money or had to go to places that specialized in lasering black/dark skin tones. I went for my consultation and it was the best experience ever. The girls at the front desk were nice and I got "KOMAL" as a tech. Let me tell y'all, she is soo sweet and has absolutely the best bedside manners. I had got my face done that same day, she talked me through everything so there were no surprises, made sure comfort was a priority for me and she gave me stress balls to mitigate the pain. Since then I have been back for legs, Brazilian, face, and I have no complaints. I've already seen a huge difference and I'm not even near done with my 6 sessions. I definitely recommend getting a package deal if you can otherwise if you have been on the fence about getting laser, I'm here to tell you, do it, and do it here. If you do go make sure you ask for Komal and tell her "E" sent you. Sincerely, A black girl that won't steer you wrong read more

Bought a groupon for 3 large Brazilian laser hair removal treatments. The consultation went well and my technician Martha was very accommodating and knowledgeable. My first appointment was done about a week ago, I was very pleasantly surprised by how fast and relatively painless the treatment was! Before laser hair removal I'd gotten Brazilian waxes and this route is definitely less painful (like a rubber band snap on various areas for about five minutes). I'll be going back in six weeks but I just wanted to mention how great my laser technician Martha was and how great the vibes were at the front desk! They even gave me a great deal on the next set of treatments I'd have needed, really great service here. read more

Dr Vafa is a skilled doctor. He knows exactly what he's doing and I wouldn't trust myself with anyone else. I was told that the number of sessions needed to remove my tattoo could range from 8-12, but I have had over 15 sessions, and my tattoo is faded but still visible. The staff turnover rate seems pretty high, and the technician who treats my tattoo has had to change a number of times. Some technicians have been fairly knowledgeable, but others were less. I finally met the doctor who's name is on the door when I asked why this process is taking longer than expected, and he has made an effort to make things right/ make sure I'm happy. He is obviously the most knowledgeable about the process, and I wish that he were part of the process earlier (without me needing to make a complaint). read more

I have had 5 treatments and there is a big improvement and some have totally gone but i do still have a few left but that's to do with my skin/veins and not the treatment . I would recommend this place to friends and will go back .
