Just went with my friend for a last minute birthday nose piercing! They were kind, quick, and informative. They walked us through the process, were friendly and welcoming the entire time. Good conversation, the person piercing us was just so nice and complemented both of us the entire time. It was just an uplifting experience. I got a few tattoos here and they were good. No complaints for the tattoo artists. My issue is with what I had to overhear from the young new piercer as I got my tattoo. She had just finished doing two girls (one for anti-brow and nose, sorry if this is you), and she made fun of them after leaving talking about how one had a big nose. Then she and another buddy there with curly black hair continued to talk poorly about fat people. Said it's hard to work with them because they bulge their fat all over the tables. Then went on to talk about a fat person who she recently pierced their navel sideways, and said that if she wanted it to be straight then she shouldn't be fat and that she refuses to do the re-do and will make another pierced do it. And I'm no pro piercer, but it seems pretty common sense that it isssss the piercers lack of competency if they pierced the person crooked. Next time just mark the person when they're still standing instead of sitting. and talked crap about a coworker being hella old... ‍ Anyways, fat people or big nosed people or anyone who doesn't wanna be bullied by some little girls, don't get a piercing here. Not sure who the girl was exactly, but she is who's pictured on their Instagram right now as the new piercer doing the 'egg challange'. I went in to get my conch pierced the other day and I had a bad gut feeling about this place just by the look of it. I only came here because it was $10 cheaper than Euphoria and my friends have all been here as well. The woman with her hair in a ponytail and had a half shaved head pierced me, didn't walk me through the piercing at all and then pierced me with no warning. SO rough and not gentle at all, and then she didn't offer me any cleaning solution and didn't tell me how to clean it. This place is not gentle at all and I highly recommend spending the 10 extra dollars at Euphoria at the Vancouver Mall. Edit: My ear has been hot and throbbing for the past 4 days since I got it pierced. I've been cleaning it regularly (with cleaning solution for Euphoria at the Vancouver Mall since this place had none to offer) and I haven't bumped or tugged it on anything. read more

I came into this shop last year to get my nose repierced. The piercer ended missing the mark and gave me a brand new piercing all together. I've had another piercer look at it and they said it is crooked and that i wouldn't be able to wear a hoop in it..... As annoying as that was i decided to give this place another chance. Which was a HUGE mistake. The stem that piercer put in was way TOO LONG. My hair and face mask keep getting caught on it. It has been very painful. I came in today to get my stem changed out. At first they said they couldn't because it was against the law; but than said i could if i paid for a new set of piercings......??? I pointed out since i shouldn't have to pay since the piercer made a mistake by putting the wrong stem in the ear. The lady argued with me and was very rude. There is NO WAY my ear was going to swell that much. This place obviously hires piercers that are unexperienced and they have the worst customer service. Not only have i had to spend more money getting their mistakes corrected not once; but twice now. I will never come back to this place and i strongly recommend everyone else do the same... read more

Studio X Tattoo - Stem way too long for piercings. Causing pain and piercings is taking longer to heal. - Piercing Near Me - Vancouver, Washington

Long story short, they only have cheap externally threaded jewelry, terrible customer service, passive aggressive staff, and prices are comparable to much better studios anyway. Got a tongue and v labret for Friday the 13th. I had called to confirm i did not have to get both at the same time. Was told I could do them at separate times but when I went in they refused to just do one. I bit the bullet and did both, which gave me a terrible cold and sinus infection. When I brought up the problem to the piercer Renee, she said I must have just coincidentally got a cold directly after getting the piercings... this is wrong, not only was I nearly immediately better after taking out the tongue piercing, but I had a feeling I would get sick from trying to heal too much at once from past experiences. Coughing was greatly irritating my tongue and causing bruising in my lips around the labret so reached out again for help and she said the (excessive) swelling i had and bumps from the bar hitting my gums when coughing was a "normal part of the healing process" and to keep eating ice. I got a second opinion from my regular piercer and she agreed we should take it out. The jewelry was cheap, the piercing was crooked, I didn't have the proper anatomy for how the piercing was placed, which Renee had mentioned but said afterwards "I pierced it at an angle so you could have it further back like you wanted". I would have rather had no piercing at all instead of paying for a crooked one that had no chance of healing. Ended up very sick, had to see a doctor, take it out, and got absolutely no help from the staff after having a bad time just going in to the piercing(s) in the first place. I used to go here a few years ago for easy piercings like nostrils and ears, otherwise you get what you pay for and do not recommend any of their artists or any other services. (And if you read other reviews, their responses refuse to acknowledge any wrong doing, puts the blame on the customer, and don't offer any solution, just as shole comments.) read more

wasn't in my area and decided to stop in for some piercings here since i was with my boyfriend in his area, and i will say first thing everyone is very sweet and welcoming!! on top of that my piercer was AMAZING, she's super fun, gentle, trusting and makes it a genuinely awesome experience to just be there in general! i was VERY happy with my experience today and will be making a 30 min drive anytime i need a new piercing from the best, lydia!! I've gone here to get my nose pierced and get an industrial bar piercing. Both times I had the same lady (tall, skinny, colorful hair, lots of piercings, super sweet and outgoing) but I recently went to get my septum pierced and a different lady did it (shorter, on the heavier side compared to the first lady, obsessed with halloween) and while I'm no expert on piercings, I'm pretty sure she pierced my septum wrong. It's pierced up into the nose "bone" and has been hurting like hell since I got it done. I went to get my nipple re pierced here. Guys please DO NOT come here for piercings the lady argued with me and said I needed a medium piercing instead of a small for swelling but then when it came time for the piercing she took enough nipple for a large and the medium ring barley fit. It's been since August and my nipple still has not healed I now have 2 different sized nipple rings a small and a medium that doesn't even fit and won't heal so I have been able to change it to a large. On and off considered a nostril piercing for YEARS, Friday the 13th was approaching and it finally felt right. Since long wait (busy of course for sale), I also did both 3rd lobes. Only $39 total ($13 / hole)! The man at the back desk was really nice, asking if I was excited. Piercing artist was amazing; did not catch her name but she had gorgeous multi colored hair (pink, blue, purple I think). Nose piercing hurt a bit but she was quick and I didn't bleed or have eyes water much. But to my surprise I got VERY light headed after, near passing out (maybe from some dehydration + pain). She was VERY patient when I mentioned being light headed and they quickly got me water and a lollipop. She was also quick on lobes once my head cleared up and had me check placement in mirror beforehand. I made sure to give her a nice $10 tip for her patience and talent: THANK YOU! 6 days later and so far piercings are doing great, I love them. :) She recommended cleaning with a mixture of water and antibacterial hand soap (Dial brand). I've been using a 50/50 mix and haven't had any issues. I have also used salt or H2Ocean on previous ear and bellybutton piercings. read more

Two of my friends wanted to come here for their piercings and I just came along. Last minute I decided to piece my nose..... which I really regret getting it done from this place. Limited on jewelry. Poor aftercare instructions. No aftercare solution. Less than 48 hrs my nose started "eating" the jewelry. I went bad and had another lady take a look at it. She agreed the jewelry was too small in size and gave me a hoop instead. The hoop helped me a lot but after 2 months the piercing wasn't healing right. The outside healed but inside felt "raw". Then I did start getting a bump on outside and inside of my nose. I just went to Main Street and their piercer was awesome. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. Unfortunately he couldn't put the piercing in for me because this was done somewhere else, but I was able to buy their jewelry and place it at home myself. For those who have very sensitive skin - please go to Main Street. The jewelry costs the came but material is on the higher end. read more

I had my nose pierced, followed care instructions very carefully, and was so gentle with the piercing. It started "sinking" into my nose. 5 days later, I went to another shop. The guy was shocked how bad It was, said It was totally infected, and that he wouldn't even put a new ring through. Was told to wait 4-6 weeks. I would not recommend this place at all. My friend and I came here for piercings. I got my belly button pierced and it's completely sideways! Same with my friend whose piercings were also sideways. I have heard from others that this place also has pierced them poorly so I want to spread the word. Matt is the best. Total sweetheart-- I was a walk-in, and I'm so grateful he was willing to work with me! It was a spur of the moment thing-- Leonard Nimoy had just passed. I called because they were next to my work, and I had done their Friday the 13th piercing deal. Well, Matt picked up. I told him the look and tattoo idea over the phone. By the time I clocked off and got there, he had a design done. Loved it. Wasn't expensive at all! I went back for my collarbone tattoo-- he's an amazing letter. Very small font. Once again, it feels like an actual collaboration. I recommend him to a lot of people. He does touch-ups, no problem. I look forward to going back. Matt gets a 5-- the shop gets a 4. It gets cramped there sometimes because of the space, and I wish there was a better variety of artists. BUT tats aside, their piercers are great, too. Prices are not bad at all. read more

I got my nose pierced here during early Covid times. Not only were they considerate of my time, but also extremely friendly and kind. My piercer was experienced and also allowed me to change the location of the piercing multiple times without freaking me out or making me feel annoying. My last review got deleted and they accused me of being a "fake" reviewer and that I *never* signed a release form which is ludicrous because the first thing Kris asked for was my ID and handed me a clipboard so they're full of you-know-what. I asked for a SIMPLE pink heart, I should have just tattooed it myself because now after 4 years, I'm looking for someone to cover it up. Visited this place over winter time to get a new piercing and have my nose stud changed to a hoop. Girl who did my piercing told me "the piercer will be right out", left, and came back 5 mins later saying "just kidding I'll be piercing you!" At this point I was a little nervous cause she didn't seem to be confident about her ability to pierce my helix but I went with it cause I really wanted it done. She put a bar in my ear that seemed really long and thicker than my other earrings which made it super tough to heal. I cleaned it regularly and just the other day decided to take it out because it wouldn't heal. Nose was the same story. Nasty bump formed above ring (even though I've had it for over a year), every single treatment possible used and nothing would help. Went to euphoria at the mall a couple days ago and had them take it out, bump is totally healed now. Long story short: these people didn't even ask me what kind of jewelry I wanted/needed (I just assumed they used stainless or titanium). Gave me horrible infections which forced me to remove my jewelry. Disclaimer: I have 11 piercings, I know how to care for them. Really disappointed I had to remove them, and seemed to simply be an issue of needing better quality jewelry, which they should have offered! read more

Don't have any experience with their tattoo work. My review is based on the lack of professionalism/customer service. The barbell in my tragus piercing fell out. I was by the place and stopped in to purchase another one. Was told I had to wait because the piercers were busy, no worry. I waited about 10 minutes to be shown the barbells they had. I purchased one and was asked if I wanted someone to put it in. I thought sure much easier that way. Was told it would be a few minutes. Waited 15 minutes and in that time watched a girl come in and say her helix piercing fell out, she waited maybe 5 minutes and was taken back, in and out. I thought maybe they just skipped me on accident. Again I'm patient, than the apprentice comes out and I think realized I still hadn't been helped. Ran after the piercers that just walked outside and came back in to tell me 5 more minutes. I waited and after 10 minutes got up and left. While walking to my car saw the 4 employees smoking on the side of the building. Not very professional in the least. If that's the service for simply putting a barbell in I feel sorry for anyone who actually gets pierced or tattooed. Definitely would not recommend for any service. read more

People are really nice and everything is clean but the jewelry they use is cheap and breaks is just a few days. I've had to go back several times to get new jewelry because of how cheaply it's made. Really upset. But I like them in general besides that. They were fairly nice about me having to get my nose re pierced after the gem fell into my nose the first time. But once again the gem is already out and it wasn't even 2 days and it's already fallen out. So I have to go back to get another new piece of jewelry and I'm cleaning it correctly and not even putting makeup any where near it since the last one fell out. read more
