I downloaded and made an account on Yelp just so I could recommend Studio Wish. This is not a paid review nor is it written by AI. This is an honest take from a long-time customer. I've been a customer of Studio Wish since before they moved up to their new location. Their service is impeccable. First, booking an appointment, or even walking in, is always very an easy and accommodating experience. When I first walk in the door and am greeted by front of house staff, I am always treated with kindness and respect. Everyone is always so welcoming and cheerful! The studio "vibe" is absolutely gorgeous and unique. I am always amused at the range of clientele I've seen. I've seen teenagers to octogenarians at the salon (and all treated with kindness and respect). And, I love the addition of the bar and custom mocktails (I'm sorry, I can't remember if alcohol is served or not!). It tips the salon from an awesome studio to a unique and amazing one. A bit of glitter on an already stellar atmosphere! I've only had my hair cut and styled as well as purchased a few products. I haven't tried any of the other amazing services they offer quite yet but I hope to change this soon. I have never, not a single time, been disappointed by the quality or look of my cut. I have walked in and said "do what you think will look best for me" and put my trust into the salon (and, well, the amazingly talented Mckenzie!) I have walked out feeling happier, healthier, and more confident. Further, I've never felt like there has been high pressure to buy or addon extras that'd break my budget. Yes, services and products are suggested, but it is never the high pressure sales that I sometimes see at other salons. Checking out and paying is a breeze. I have never felt there are any hidden fees. Prices are clearly labeled on their website. With all this being said, yes, Studio Wish is pricey. However, as the old addage goes, you will get what you pay for. I feel like I've invested in the health of my hair when I come to Wish and thus see it as a sort of doctor's appointment. You wouldn't want to see a cheap doctor would you? So why would you cheap out on your scalp and hair health? Book an appointment. Get pampered by the amazing staff. My impression was that this salon simply wants to "play" at using contact tools like texting and annoying messages. Angie's shampoo and haircut was not creative or inspired, but adequate for a one time haircut. No reason to return once I finally "turned off" all the messages. read more

I swear I had written this review, but I guess I just thought about it! I have been here several times now and have never been disappointed. I have to admit I switched over from a 'budget' salon in Aurora (no names) and I can't be more happy that I did. The old adage "you get what you pay for" is certainly true when it comes to hair services. The budget salon could do one color fairly well, as long as you don't mind the outline of dye high on your forehead or leftover color at the nape of your neck because it wasn't washed out properly! The cuts were always average. So I finally thought I needed to upgrade to a better quality salon. As always, I looked to Yelp for inspiration and Studio Wish was at the top of the list. Granted they don't have many reviews, which I don't get given the amount of clientele that is always there. But I've discovered that this area of NEO isn't a hot bed of Yelp activity. So I'm here doing my part! Mahlaina is my current stylist and she is awesome! Super sweet, patient and she listens to what you want and makes suggestions as well. I'm pretty open to that and trust her judgement on what will and won't work. One of the huge differences about this salon is the pampering that you get. You can have coffee, tea, water as much as you want. Maybe they should add wine to the offerings...just sayin ;) Might be licensing issues with that though I'm not sure! Your stylist will come out to ask what you are wanting for the service, then an assistant will come and get you prepped. Once your color is on then the assistant will come back and give you a hand/arm massage...love their pomegranate lotion! Once the color is done setting then the assistant comes to get you to take you to the lather lounge. Very zen and spa like in there. If you are doing an additional step and getting gloss then the stylist comes back to do that and you will be provided with a hot steamed towel for your face or neck. Also once the conditioner goes on you will also get a scalp massage which is probably my favorite part of the entire service...heavenly! Needless to say there are so many extras included in your service that it makes the price tag a little easier to swallow. It isn't cheap, but not any more expensive than any other high end salon in the area from what I have been able to gather. Former high-end salon manager here. I had my first experience at Studio Wish today, and let me tell you- this place is something special! I was incredibly impressed by every aspect of my visit. I was really nervous going in because my hair was a mess, but it was 100% a judgment-free zone. Every employee I came in contact with was extremely friendly, professional, and hospitable. Rowena took the time to do a thorough consultation prior to my color and cut, and I absolutely LOVE the results. She is so talented and kind! Rowena's assistant, McKenna, gave me the best scalp/hand & arm massage of my life (no joke... she's awesome). My only regret is that I didn't start going several years ago. I had a bad experience with So Cap hair extensions. Felt to much hair was glued into each hair extension, I lost A LOT of hair. They looked beautiful for a month. But I was left with bald spots. :( I feel owner of Salon should be more plugged in, although when you get to speak with her, she is very nice. While in her chair she is trying. My opinion ... this is a over priced salon trying to be swanky. read more

I've been going here a couple years and used to love the place but they've had a lot of staff changes and things have really gone downhill. After my last cut my family has been teasing me and calling me Jem and the Holograms because of the bad '80's bangs I was left with. Seriously, I started crying. My hair looks so bad. I should also mention that during this appointment there was no hot water to rinse or shampoo because no one knew how to turn on the hot water heater. Then the appointment before that the stylist started cutting my bangs but stopped halfway through, leaving a three inch difference between the two sides. Apparently there's a policy that you are scheduled for so long of a block of time and when that time is up you're done regardless of how your hair looks and regardless of the time they took out of your appointment time to socialize with their mom who stopped in to visit. read more

If you want incredibly beautiful hair and top notch customer service, go to the Wish Salon in Twinsburg Ohio. For me it was a life changing experience. I am now confident in how I look. Everyone that has seen my hair absolutely loved the color and cut. At my age (over 70) I was starting to look and feel old. Now, everyone says I look younger and my complexion is glowing. The proper coloring technique has been the best I ever had. I went from all blonde to a blend of colors to match my to my naturally gray hair. I feel more bright and beautiful than I have in years. I taught customer service for over 20 years, The Wish Salon has customer service perfected. Every single employee I met was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Rowena did my consultation, coloring and cut. She created the color that was perfect for me and my complexion. She told me she would exceed my expectations and she certainly did. I was in Twinsburg recently on a business trip and desperately needed a haircut. Being in the hair business myself, I tend to be a little picky when it comes to hair salons so I asked some friends to point me to "the best". Studio Wish came highly recommended, and they were able to squeeze me in for an appointment before my meeting. I have to say, it's among the best haircuts I've ever had. Rowena, who happens to be the owner, did my cut and I'm happy to say not only was it perfect, but I also made a new industry friend.
