I asked for full, wispy lashes and she did such a great job. It's been about a week since I got them done and they are still really full. I've been to other lash studios and my eyes are usually red after getting extensions (they are sensitive to the glue), but I did not have that experience at all with Studio Velle! Angela is amazing! She has done my full set and now refills about 6 times. I have had lashes from other people and none of them come close to the quality of hers. Well, I recently wrote a review for another gal whom I thought was going to be my permanent lash girl until she had no appointments for two months... I obviously couldn't live without lashes for a whole two months! Having said that, I found Angela and WOW! I could not be any happier! Although, the other girl was good- she wasn't able to give me the DARK FULL THICK look I wanted and I kind of just settled because I was losing hope in all the south end lash salons. I started going here because of Novalash(found online under Novalash company). The studio is clean and follows the guidelines for covid. 3 Week Update: Eyelash retention has been phenomenal, no irritation or discomfort (which was a huge reason why I was losing/pulling lashes done at my previous lash place). I made my appointment for signature volume, but she told me there were different types so she asked me how I'd like my signature volume before starting. Angela was friendly and personable. Update: Angela reached out to me to have my eyelashes redone by a master tech and they look great. Teresa was great at helping me figure out the right style to suit my eye shape. Angela really cares about making sure her clients are happy with the final result. Original post: I booked an appointment here based on the great reviews. Unfortunately my experience was just okay. My lashes don't look good and the spikes have already fallen off after one day. I wanted a wispy, hybrid look and ended up with a hot, jumbled mess. I had Angie as my tech and I think she might be new. I'm okay & understanding with somebody being new, but if you're not able to complete a desired look, please say so and we can go with something more in line with your skill set. She took the inspo pic and used the exact mapping that was in the picture, and even that was wrong. But regardless of that, I didn't ask her to use the mapping from the picture, it was the INSPO pic. During the appt, minutes would pass without her doing anything to my lashes, so I was just laying there not knowing what was going on. At the end of the appt she "brushed" my lashes for 10-15 minutes. I put that in quotes because it felt like she was only touching my lashes repeatedly with the brush. Angie was nice and attempted to fix it but it's not looking good. Overall I'm sad I had to spend 3 and a half hours getting my lashes done. read more

I've come here about 4 times and out of the 4 times I've come I've had to remove the lashes prematurely. Im not sure what kind of glue they are using or if they are heavy handed on the glue to prevent the lashes from falling out but it has caused me to have severe allergic reactions. I suggest using a different glue for people with sensitive eyes and allergies. Which should be part of the consultation process before a single extension is applied. I've had my lashes done at multiple places before coming here. Angela does such an amazing job, I had my lashes done about 2 weeks ago with one of the other ladies (I have had my lashes done by all three ladies at one point or another) and was in for my fill last night. First off I should say that I don't have much to work with to begin with and my lashes were hanging on by a thread. My eye shape and the way my lashes tuck under my eyelids make it a bit difficult when get extensions BUT my lashes are nice and full and fluffy. I LOVE THEM!!! I barely notice they are even there!!
