Sugar Factory Orlando 8371 International Dr, #70…read moreOrlando, FL 32819 @sugarfactoryorlando_ I had the pleasure of visiting this place with my family during our anniversary weekend and we had a great time. The atmosphere was great. The vibes were rocking. The staff made it so memorable for us. The food there was delicious. Burgers on point. Chicken Tenders were nice and crispy. Their Smokey Goblets are always entertaining and their dessert was just just out of this world.

If you're at ICON Park trying to keep both kids and adults happy... Sugar Factory Orlando…read moredefinitely does the trick--just know what you're coming for. We popped in after hanging around ICON Park when the kids were over it but the adults were ready for a drink lol. Snagged a reservation on OpenTable in under 5 minutes, which was a win. Rocky and Patrick were great--super attentive and kept the vibe fun. The girls split the Strawberry Lemonade Splash--yes, it's $40 for a non-alcoholic candy drink, which is wild, but it's really about the experience (and they loved it). My husband and I went with the Reposado Espresso Martinis--pretty solid and did the job. Food-wise, we kept expectations realistic. The girls got the rainbow sliders (cute, comes with 4) but only ate one each--we boxed the rest. We've had Sugar Factory before, so we didn't go crazy on food and stuck with the wing sampler. Buffalo was the standout--actually flavorful. The lemon pepper and Cajun butter were kinda underwhelming and needed more seasoning. Overall: come for the vibes, drinks, and over-the-top presentation--not necessarily the food. Perfect for a fun stop when you're already in the area.

They also sell citrus chewy candies, goat milk fudge, fruit wines, and various gift items. They have out samples which of course hooked us. The prices are similar to any gourmet candy shop and they had some unique finds. The ambiance? You are surrounded by delicious candy... what could be better? They are also attached to a Dunkin Donuts so you can get a caffeine fix too

I felt like I was walking into a nightclub... Upon entering the two workers greeted use which was great, but I was a little lost in the store, the front of the store has all of the boxed chocolates and towards the back is where you'll find the single chocolates you can choose from. I grabbed a few things, the person helping me was friendly but didn't really know what was the chocolates they were selling. I asked for what looked like it was a light caramel chocolate covered pretzel and she said it was caramel however it was peanut butter. That was a bummer! They do have ice cream as well but it looks very processed and full of food coloring. The chocolate tasted decent compared to other chocolate shops. The pretzels were also fresh, I did grab white chocolate covered cashews and those tasted old. We got about maybe 5 chocolates for $8.00

Parking is a little tricky, but definitely doable. There's quite a bit of metered parking, and we were able to find a free meter on a Saturday by parking on a nearby side street. The moment we walked in, we were amazed, and clearly hungry, because everything looked so delicious! My daughter made a beeline straight for the $5 candy buffet, which she absolutely loved. It's such a fun and unique option for kids. The vintage bottle drink freezer was another highlight, so colorful and stocked with all kinds of interesting and nostalgic flavors. They also had some funny gag gifts and a great selection of bulk candy at reasonable prices. One of our favorite touches was the little train running around the ceiling, it's such a cute detail that really adds to the experience. They even have a penny press, so be sure to bring two quarters and a shiny penny! We will definitely be back and highly recommend this spot if you're looking for fun gifts or a sweet treat, especially for kids.

Sugar-fueled chaos. ________________________…read more Top 3's: - Mickey-themed candy everywhere - Bright, colorful setup - Build-your-own baggy station Low 3's: - Pre-packaged candy pricier than average prices - More people than oxygen - None Overall: 4 Ambiance: 4 | Service: 5 | Value: 3 ________________________ This spot hits different if you're traveling with kids under 10, but honestly, candy nostalgia doesn't have an age limit in my opinion. The Mickey-inspired assortments are everywhere, and the build-your-own candy station is a solid move if you want to curate your sugar intake. Watching the actual candy-making and packaging through the windows adds a nice behind-the-scenes touch that keeps things interesting while you wait. You're paying a premium compared to grabbing M&M's a Target, but you're also at a destination spot. Expectations adjust accordingly. So many families I can tell you that. The store itself is a visual overload in the best way. Bright colors on every surface.

They have a very large selection of mix ins as well as a good assortment of ice cream flavors too. You can get it prepared like a sunday, milkshake or a mix in (sort of like a mcflurry). The staff was super friendly and helpful to allow us to pick one of their specials or build our own. You can even get just a regular vanilla shake plain with nothing else. The price is reasonable considering they have so many options and the free games to spend time. I noticed some people were playing card games too but I am not sure if they were provided or they brought them in with them. Definitely a great place to hang and cool off.
