Decor is great and they have FREE Air Hockey and video games to play while you enjoy your cool treat. They have a very large selection of mix ins as well as a good assortment of ice cream flavors too. You can get it prepared like a sunday, milkshake or a mix in (sort of like a mcflurry). The staff was super friendly and helpful to allow us to pick one of their specials or build our own. You can even get just a regular vanilla shake plain with nothing else. The price is reasonable considering they have so many options and the free games to spend time. I noticed some people were playing card games too but I am not sure if they were provided or they brought them in with them. Definitely a great place to hang and cool off. read more

This has to be one of the coolest places I've seen that's dedicated to sweets. It's such an experience just walking in. Everything is alien inspired and the staff is so passionate about what they make. The man helping us with our order, told us that all of the ingredients are very minimally processed just to make everything taste fresh. He said the reason why he started this dessert place was he wanted to make it more of an experience, so we can savor our milkshakes fully. I think he definitely succeeded! There's ample seating with lots of retro arcade games & mini games on each table. Everything on the menu is customizable and they even have a build your own milkshake section. They also have freeze dried candy and other sweets along with lots of alien inspired things for sale. What an out of this world milkshake place. We stopped here while doing the Thornton Park Art and Wine Walk, but returned for the galactic shakes. The theme is definitely alien and they have a whole section to buy treats that are flash frozen. They also a few arcade cabinets and a basketball hoop for entertainment while you enjoy the shake. This was a good place to grab a sweet treat after walking around Lake Eola during their Farmers Market event. The owner was very friendly and informative with the menu. He even made my drink semi special because my man ordered the drink I wanted. The drinks were perfectly sweet and so refreshing for the semi hot day. My man's drink was delicious too. The prices were not bad for the drinks. The location has cool galactic decor. They also have a wall of dry freeze candy and a cooler with unique glass bottle drinks. Hands down my new favorite ice cream spot in Orlando. We ordered their specialty ice cream, which can be made 3 different ways (shake, mixed up into a "b"lizard, or a traditional sundae). First experience at Alien Treats this afternoon and we love this place. They have a good variety of shakes on the menu and we selected The Mothership with Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal and a brown sugar and cinnamon pop tart and we also selected The CoverUp which is chocolate ice cream with Reese's cups, peanut butter sauce and Reese's cereal (although we did not have the Reese's cereal). Shakes were about $10.95 each. The owner made our shakes and he was great at giving us the lay of the land and going over the menu. This is a great place for kids and just for adults.
