Worst customer service ever. No one said hi when I walked in and I could overhear the owner talking bad about a previous customer because they where not happy with their color. Knew I shouldn't had gone inside because this used to be a morgue but against my better judgement I did. But nothing upsets me more than employees talking about customers so I left and won't be back. read more

I started going to Indulgence a few months ago specifically for nails. KC does an awesome job and specializes in Gelish. I have paper thin nails, and they've never looked better! She's got many colors to choose from, but my favorite has to be the custom color she created for me! I decided to bite the bullet and get my hair cut and colored. I have long, DRY, curly hair. There aren't too many sylists that can work with curly hair... But Indulgence has Trish.. the queen of curlies! Just like my nails, my hair has also never looked better! I wanted to donate my hair to help cancer patients and they were able to take me as a walk-in. The experience was great. The lady that cut my hair did a great job with taming my mane (I have thick, unruly hair). Great website that explains everyone's specialty and years of experience (curly hair, color specialist, etc...). BTW - There is no such thing as a free haircut when you donate your hair anymore......at least in the Central Valley. I have donated my hair a few times and I prefer Pantene Beautiful Lengths over Locks of Love. The specific reasons are PBL only wants 8 inches of hair vs. LOL wanting 10 inches. LOL will sort out all hairs that are less than 10 inches and sell them to pay for the making of the wig......If I wanted my hair to be sold I would do it on my own. Which bring me to the #1 reason I prefer PBL, they give the wig to the cancer survivor / patient. LOL charges the families for the wig. OK, I'm stepping off of my soap box. read more

I went here because I was specifically looking for a place that did Gelish Nails with structure, my appt was with KC and she is awesome! My nails are gorgeous and wow! What a difference from a normal mani or a shellac mani, my nails are thin and flimsy so a normal mani lasts just a couple of days on me and a shellac just a few days more. After two experiences here I'm pretty unhappy. I want to skip over the first experience and just say if you have long healthy hair avoid chemicals. It's not worth it getting damage and dryness. The stylist I saw also did a cut on me a few days later as I called and mentioned I felt my hair needed it from the damage. When wet the cut seemed fine as she didn't cut too much off but she completely disregard everything I said about layers. I was very specific when I said I wanted long blend-able layers at the bottom as I sometimes let my hair air dry. When my hair was finally dry at home the layers are choppy and up half the length of my hair. My left side has way more layers than my right side and my back is very choppy. This will take half a year or more before it can be fully fixed. When all was said and done I was out closely $120 roughly 5 inches of hair and left with dry damaged hair. Not exactly a fun bday gift. As for the salon itself I sat out on the couch for roughly 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me. Two stylist saw me walk in and neither said hi or even offer to help me for quite some time. This was my first time at the salon and I had no idea what room my stylist was in. I'm sad that my birthday money was wasted and my long hair is gone but I've learned a valuable lesson. I would like to stress that this is my own personal opinion and experience here. I feel bad leaving this review as the stylist was very nice. I know that there are probably some very good and capable stylist at the salon. However I feel that my experience was more than just a slight mishap. Update: Karen was the stylist & she recently called leaving a message saying she went to a different salon. read more

I am in love with this place. It was much bigger and nicer than I imagined. Love love love my hair! The atmosphere was casual but classy and comfortable. The staff is friendly and very entertaining. I not only love my hair but I had a great time while I was there. I'm going to find an excuse to go back before my touch up. I've only had lynn do my hair ( and it's fabulous) but the other girls are just as talented. I like the personal touch you get with the rooms being divided. And paying was easy. I was going to a gal there for a little over a year, getting services every six weeks. Unfortunately after all that time and money I was devastated with how it ended. The service was great, up until my last appointment which made me never want to return again. The stylist (Tami) was supposed to preform a Bayalage style and the end result was atrocious. Looked nothing like the image I was going for AT ALL. She kept insisting that was the style I was looking for but it wasn't even close. I called the owner of the salon who attempted to rectify the situation even though she didn't even offer to fix it herself. I felt very mistreated and will never go back. read more

I would just like to say that I've never enjoyed having anyone touching my hair! It's just not my idea of something pleasurable, until resent years having my hair done at Studio Q by Jenny, who takes great care of me! We took about a year to gently take my hair back to its natural colors (a lot of silver) and now maintain it with great cuts and conditioning! This is no easy task...as I always remind her..."I only have 14 hairs" (just kiddin') since my hair is so fine and thin!! Everything you do to such a small amount of hair counts and shows! I finally stopped having Lynn do my hair when the highlights she was giving my dark brown hair turned all of hair this awful orange. And did I mention how deeply damaged this made my hair? It was god awful. And to boot she had cut my hair very uneven. I had to go in the next day to have her even the back of my hair where the middle was mysteriously three inches shorter than the rest of my hair. I had her fix it the next day but she denied any responsibility, claim I must have burned it on curling iron. Do not pay for SculpSure!!! It hurts and it may not even work. I spent $2,700 and saw zero results. I was even told I was a prime canidate. They have already had negative results with other clients, but continue the procedure anyway. They are even trying to go after the manufacturer with their results. This is my first experience at any spa in Manteca, I decided to take my Aunt that lives in the area for a facial and massage birthday surprise. I booked my appointments with Kendra who turned out to be our esthetician; she made an appointment for us to see her along with Joshua for a massage. Kendra is the sweetest, most gentle, kindest esthetician I've ever encountered; she had a plant and birthday balloon waiting for my Aunt when we arrived. She did an amazing job and my skin is still glowing weeks later. Joshua, let's just say the fact that he reminded me of Justin Timberlake didn't hurt but he was SO GOOD. This place is now called Studio Q after the new owner. Couldn't find anything under the new name. First and last time here. Arrived early and sat on the couch for who knows how long until I had to go look for someone. There was no receptionist to greet me and I couldn't see anyone in the rooms from the lobby. Amy was running behind so I had to wait for about 30 minutes. I asked for bayalage highlights, color, and cut and showed her pics of what I wanted and told her what I didn't want. She started by telling me she couldn't do what I wanted in one visit, it would take two visits. She said my highlights wouldn't be as light as I wanted and would turn an awful color first but she would tone it to a light brown. I was hesitant but she promised she wouldn't let me walk out looking bad. Well 4 hours and $150 dollars later my hair is bright orange all over and dark brown on the top . I asked for the highlights to frame my face and she did two big chunks which are a brighter orange. I replied to her survey about how unhappy I was and she responded that she forgot to tell me not to wash my hair. She said I must have washed the toner out and she would retone it but when I sent her pics a few days later and said I didn't think toner would fix it she blew me off and didn't reply. read more
