As a shopping center staple of the 818 it's an "OZ" like hub of some of my favorite haunts in the Los Angeles Valley... Including Vegan Studio, the heart aka hearty eat spot that I discovered in 2020... Residuals, a great divey bar for liquid courage, in the corner of this shopping ceneter and Drip & Roll, the brain or rather brain freeze you didn't know you needed with non-dairy options as well as many classic curds but more so whey like frozen desserts. The parking lot is fairly easy to navigate and usually you'll be in luck, however as more businesses shift back into running at some larger capacity for indoor and/or outdoor enjoyment... Street parking is always your friend and there's plenty of it! Get your haircut, your back kneaded, your nails did and maybe a tattoo via the famous Studio City Tattoo just next door to this perfect plaza of local small biz enjoyment. Don't forget to fuel up at many choice food spots as well like Sushi Dan or Tortas Mexico or my choice pick My Vegan Studio. Many more small businesses just next door and beside here with a big public transit hub for a more green day and central to tons of spots and conveniences... What more could you want!

I've taken a few free workout classes at the Vuori here and they've been enjoyable. While I look forward to walking around this chic enclave, I'll echo what some other Yelpers have said: the parking here is an unnecessary headache. I don't believe in paying for parking at a mall or outdoor shopping center. I think it's a petty cash grab. Additionally, as others have mentioned, many of the spots here are tandem. This is gross, even with valet. I'm going to get creative and find parking elsewhere because I refuse to pay for parking here anymore.

Parking can be tricky but once you figure out then it's not that bad. You also get free 90 minutes parking here and have to give the valet people your key because of the way the parking spots work. You might get boxed in or you'll be the one boxing in the other car. The scenery here is amazing with the little ponds and sitting area. The atmosphere here makes you feel like you're at a park. My wife and I came here because she wanted to visited Hoka store to try their comfortable shows. Then she wanted to go to Erewhon to try their overpriced smoothies.

Who says malls are dead? Apparently they have not been to Fashion Square because it was poppin!…read more I have not been to a mall in ages. Normally, they're just not my thing. I prefer shopping with individual merchants in my neighborhood. But eventually, we all have to take a trip to the Apple Store, or to a department store. It's inevitable. What I forgot about is how friendly all the merchants are. I parked at the wrong end of the mall and couldn't seem to find my bearing. All I had to do was ask any Merchant and they all directed me with a smile to where I needed to go. Even when I didn't buy anything from them. People were just very accommodating and happy. I guess malls are a happy place. Retail therapy is real. I can't speak much to value, because of course prices range from hide below, depending up on where you're going. I went to Bloomingdale's for lunch and then I went to H&M for jeans. High to low. I must say that everything is so convenient. I picked up things I didn't really intend to because I remember I needed them and I was there. All in all, I would say it was a great experience. I'll probably be going back to the mall again.

I don't think I go out of my way to visit the Grove, considering the distance and the difficulty of getting parking. Huge crowds, have to pay for parking, and even if you walk farther away, it's a risk to get towed and there's metered parking too that hit a 2 hour maximum, at least the last time I went there. Aside from accidentally wandering in here or being here for a specific event (seeing Yoshiki over a decade ago or the 20th anniversary Rilakkuma pop up, which was absolutely fisted with people), I've only wandered here on accident when hanging out with friends elsewhere. There's a good number of shops and eateries though, especially since it sort of shares the space/is right next to the Farmer's Market (great open area to go shop and to go dine). Large overlap of the same shops and eateries as the Americana, but there's things there that we don't have in Glendale. Lot of higher end businesses. Big fan of the La La Land Kind Cafe and what they do, their drinks, and their aesthetic. It's not a bad outdoors mall, considering how "fancy" it is, the fact that it's outside in the California sunshine, and the fountain with the Bellagio style musical water shows, but just know that the parking can get hideous.

Parking varies if on if you have a pass, if you're just going to the theme park, and if you're going to do validation only for City Walk. Though, it's pretty cool that it's reduced after 5 PM (technically you can do this for Disney, and , but it's after 7-ish instead). The scale of everything and the neon lights, and photo ops are much more impressive. Great to look at, at night and this was the location of my senior prom. Wish I had the intellect to just wander around City Walk instead of being forced to be in one of their event buildings only with some of the most cringe people I've met in my life. But I digress. Dining options are tad more limited with more desserts and quick service, standard fast food chains (probably the craziest Raising Cane's I've ever seen), and a couple of sit down restaurants. Neat that they have a Pink's since it's so closely tied to Hollywood history. For shopping, they do have a bunch of businesses that you can find at your local mall like Lids, Hot Topic, Shoe Palace (lol), Tilly's and much more. I think for the must stops and unique shops, it'd be the Sanrio and Hello Kitty Cafe, that chocolate emporium place (insane name), the Line Friends shop, and of course the shop that sells all the merch from Universal Studios. Due to the distance and the cost, it's not a place I'd go out of my way for, but if you're already at Universal or it's after 5 PM, it's worth it as a tourist and to explore.

A good plan is to use the Jurassic parking area (valet parking). You can get your ticketed validated at any of the main restaurants for 3.5 hours and the price is only $15.00. The most striking thing we noticed was the actual beauty of the architecture of each store. Even raising canes was amazing. Each store like Bubba Gumps and Margaritaville are really decorated nicely. We ate at Margaritaville and they have excellent food. Antijitos Mexican restaurant has some of the nicest decor i have ever seen. We plan to eat there next time. So many other shops to explore like It's Sugar and the gigantic chocolate emporium. I highly recommend making an outting here even for just some exercise or to come for lunch at one of these unique restaurants.
