I've always enjoyed this movie theater, it's a bit of a distance to get here but definitely worth it. There's a nice bar in the lounge area as you enter the theater nice little touch when waiting for others or hangout before your movie starts. The staff has always been attentive and friendly. As you get to your seats a waiter will approach you if you are ready to order drinks or food If not once your ready to order they have an order button on each table attachment to the chairs. The chairs are also so comfy but this time we noticed how they do need to be recovered the fabric is wearing off. Overall we all enjoyed our movie and recommend checking this theater out esp the area has alot of walkable restaurants and stores to visit. read more

I'm such a movie fan. And a spot that has a casual dine-in option with real, affordable food is awesome! Had some friends travel down from VA and researched this spot as a meet up. We went to see Mario Brothers. We were early so we started off at the bar. Excellent service. She helped us order and catch some great deals (2 for $32 dine) special so by the time we were seated, our food was coming in right behind us. The theater itself was a little old. Seats were ripped in almost every seat in our theater. It's time to refinish those seats. They have recline seats that let you put your feet out. Super comfy. The food was just ok. First time coming to a movie theatre that has food services! I will say, it was an excellent experience. Definitely highly recommended. The employees were very friendly and attentive. The food taste delicious and they were great portions. My wife and I did the special (2 for $32). You pick one starter, we picked Chips & Queso. Then you pick (2) entrees, we chose BBQ Bacon Cheddar Burger and a Hot Honey Pepperoni Pizza. Both of the options were very tasteful and delicious. However, my wife and I said, next time we will opt for something less messy. Our family of seven attended the first showing at 1:00 p.m., and unfortunately, the theater was not clean. The recliner I sat in was broken and wouldn't recline, with visible damage. The bathroom was dirty and poorly maintained, and both the seats and floors throughout the theater needed cleaning. I would. Or eat the food they serve if I were you. Went to watch zootopia and enjoyed this experience. The atmosphere was nice and clean leather seats that recline and were very spacious. Prices were pretty good. Food and drinks had many options. We went for a large popcorn, beer, and soda and pretty reasonable. We first asked for an iced tea but didn't taste well and got a soda instead but still charged for tea. Server forgot to take off. We had to wait and find the server afterwards to get it removed. read more

When I got into Theater 4, it was dirty. Nothing had been wiped down, and there was soda on both the floor and the seats. It was clearly not recent. It had dried into a sticky, syrupy mess. I could hear my own footsteps sticking as I walked because the syrup was on the bottom of my sneakers. One of the cupholders even had soda still sitting in it. I was able to get our seats changed, but unfortunately, the new seats were not much better. They were covered in food crumbs. Someone was sent to clean the area, but all he did was take a quick look, give it one wipe with a rag, and walk away. The food was okay, but the fries tasted like they had been cooked in old oil. The only reason I am giving this two stars is because the staff were kind and the movie itself was really good. read more

This movie theatre wants to be fancy with every theatre being dine in, but I think I prefer amc dine in over this. It just felt like upscale for tourists not upscale for real. We visited for a 2:30 movie on a Saturday and already the bathroom trash was overflowing, the floors had that slick feel when they are mopped wrong (like leftover soap) and while our alcohol was good my tenders felt over breaded and they weren't super warm. In fact it took 40 min between ordering and receiving our food, which in theory was fine but...its a movie theatre so I couldn't even see the food I was about to eat which just made me feel slightly off. read more

I love this movie theater. Great ambiance. On Tuesdays they have $6 movies which is a steal. I love how you don't have to wait in a long line to order food, you're able to order from the comfort of your own seat in the theater. The seats are leather and recline and I love that each row is far from each other so nobody has to get up or hit your chair when people are passing you. This was our first time at this cinema and we had seen fairly mixed reviews, but the price was average so we thought we'd pivot from our usual cinema. Unfortunately upon ordering two drinks one came within around 5 minutes the other, ordered before the trailers even came on didn't arrive until 5/10 minutes into the film! Around 30+ minutes later!! Despite us asking 4 different staff, each said they would check on it and no one returned to us, it eventually came but obviously then disrupted us actually watching the film's opening. Although we didn't get food, we noted that the prices on the menu were not bad at all for a movie theatre, and definitely had an interest in a few of the options for a later date. But for a simple movie night out, this place is great. Their food is WELL ABOVE normal theater food in quantity and quality. But they still have the classic popcorn and a soda if you want something simple. The seats are a bit odd, as they recline but only about 60%, so you are either almost reclined or sitting in the seat like normal. This is my favorite movie theater. People coming from other states and areas are blown away (I'm speaking as one of them). They are all wide reclining seats. They don't recline very far but still. They have food service right to your seat. You press a button and a server will come and bring you your food, drinks, refills.... It's awesome. It's also an amazing value! Like these tickets are less expensive than most if not all other movie theaters. They also have deals and specials like shareables for $34. You order a popcorn or nachos and two entrees for $34! As a family, we've been visiting Studio Movie Grill for several years and have always enjoyed the experience. However, during our recent visits, we've noticed a few changes. Ticket and food prices have increased noticeably, and the seats--while once new and very comfortable--are now showing their age and feel far less "premium." The staff continue to be friendly and helpful, but the food has become more expensive, while the "hot" dishes often arrive only warm. This particular movie theater was OK. I have been wanting to visit it for quite some time now and it was a long drive for me, but I had to go and see what it was like, but I will tell you when I first got there and walking into the front door. There was a young lady and her mom that was in a wheelchair and they don't have the push buttons for handicap people so the doors will open to let persons in wheelchairs. Enter into the building easy I thought that was quite odd and unusual and they need to fix that properly! It took myself and another young man to open doors and help her push her mom through the doors to enter into the movie theater! Purchased my ticket at the counter was pretty easy and so I go into the actual theater once I find it because it's really dark in there really kinda odd. They are lighting of course but just a different set up that I've used to so I get into the theater finally find my seat. It was very clean in there, look nice. The chairs were comfortable yet. I couldn't recline my chair all the way back. I did notice that the chair was right on the wall so only thing I was able to do was to lift the leg portion of the reclining chairs. It was very cold in there so bring a jacket or a blanket. The food was average I had to send back my sandwich just wasn't right. The service was very nice and quick with the service. Will I return again? I doubt it. There is another movie theater closer to my home down the road in my opinion a little more elegant and the food is always on point. Oh, and it was very busy yesterday. A lot of families going to the Movie on Sunday, which is great.! read more

Five stars for the theater experience, two stars for overall food and service. Hard agree with the other negative reviews regarding the service. Last two visits I had bad experiences with the staff at the bar. Both times we got to the lobby very early they were not seating our theater yet, so we tried ordering from the bar. The first time, the server comes over right away, takes the order but we waited and waited for the order so long, that the movie was about to start. I had to approach the bar and ask for the order to please be sent to the theater. It was very strange since we were one of only two or three other occupied tables in the lobby and they didn't even bring the drinks. Yesterday, I went right up to the bar, and ordered a wine listed as $9 on the menu. The bartender just dropped it and walked away. Since I didn't want to miss the beginning of the movie, I asked for the check from the other bar tender. "That'll be $11.40". Wait, it says $9 on the menu. She mumbled something about tax and gratuity which seemed odd. I went to get my wallet from our table, and asked again about the charge..."I JUST TOLD YOU TAX AND GRATUITY IS INCLUDED!" Ahh okay, well that makes sense as to why the service and friendliness are severely lacking here, when they're not only guaranteed a grat, but an 18% gratuity, to pour 6 oz of wine?? As someone who always tips all the time even for bad service, this feels kinda excessive. The service inside the theater is a little better, they're pretty good about getting the orders out before the movie starts, but I'll be honest it's a bit distracting to have servers walking all around the theater as you're trying to pay attention to the movie. Don't expect the food quality to match the prices. I wish you could at least have the option to get sodas, popcorn and candy at a concession stand to avoid the 18% gratuity but there's no such option here. All that said about the food and service, the theater experience is super comfortable. I've gotten so used to the plush reclining chairs I miss them whenever I go to a different theater. read more

I asked myself why do I continue to come here thinking that the service would change... My last visit here was by far the worst one yet. The seats are ripping and disgusting. The cushion on the seats are broken and you sink into the bottom. Before each movie, apparently the seats are not cleaned because there is tons of popcorn and trash on the sides of the seat. The service was horrible, but the service who initially took our order was friendly. However that does not make up for the cold food, the two hour wait for a drink and over priced menu items. I don't think I'll be coming here anymore, especially when there's other dine in theaters that have, better prices,a better dining experience and a cleaner environment. Wow what a great find! This is my favorite movie theater in the area by far! Clean, new, excellent friendly staff, gourmet food and snacks, large bar options, and comfy seats! The only negative is I wish the seats reclined back a little bit more. We enjoyed mimosas, bloody Mary's, pizza, popcorn and warm cookies! Great screens, sound system and seating! This time was different.. upon entering the one person working she said we had a few minutes before we can head back. We decided to use the restroom. YUCK! The bathroom was filthy!!! .. upon heading back towards the movie rooms the floor was BEYOND sticky. Like it was nasty, you'd hear everyone's shoes sticking. Our movie theater seemed like they were a little delay we went into the movie twice & it was dirty, about 15mins before previews started, they rushed in all hands on deck to clean. Btw restrooms near the theaters was also disgusting.... Once you sit you immediately press your button & the server comes to you. We did the 2 for $30 not including drinks. Got chicken bites Cheese fries & flatbread Horrible food. The food tasted like the frozen food reheated, no flavor, & cold. Discriminatory Treatment at MovieGrill Toward Individuals with Diabetes -- A Violation of Civil Rights I am deeply disappointed and disturbed by my recent experience on July 13,2025 at a MovieGrill theater, where I was denied access to food I need to manage my diabetes. I informed the manager that the food was medically necessary and that we also intended to purchase food from the theater. Despite this, I was told I would have to leave the auditorium and eat in the lobby. This was not only embarrassing -- it was discriminatory. Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), movie theaters and other public accommodations are required to make reasonable modifications to their policies to support individuals with disabilities. For those living with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes, this includes allowing food or drink needed to manage blood sugar levels. Denying someone the ability to maintain their health in a public space is not just poor customer service -- it's a violation of federal law. Legal experts, including the firm Boston, Holt & Durham, confirm that diabetes is a protected condition under the ADA, as it affects major life activities such as eating, sleeping, and working. Public places like MovieGrill are required to provide reasonable accommodations unless doing so presents an undue burden -- and allowing a small medical snack or drink clearly does not. Even more concerning was the staff's complete lack of knowledge about the ADA and their unprofessional handling of the situation. There was no empathy, no understanding, and no accountability. People with diabetes should never have to choose between their health and participating in everyday activities like going to a movie. MovieGrill must take responsibility. They need to educate their staff, update their policies, and ensure compliance with federal law. As President George W. Bush once said, the ADA is a civil rights law -- not a suggestion. Until MovieGrill addresses this discriminatory and dangerous practice, I urge anyone living with diabetes or caring for someone who does to consider other, more inclusive theaters. This kind of treatment isn't just unacceptable -- it's illegal. read more

I love going to the theater and especially a theater where I can watch my movie and eat and drink at the same time. Fork and Screen theaters are the best and only theaters I go to. I love Studio Movie Grill's special ticket price. Every Tuesday of the month, you pay $6 for a ticket. It's an all-day special. The drinks are delicious. I usually order a bottle of their house wine. I like reds mostly and their Cabernet is pretty good. To me, it's better to buy a bottle which is $19 if you're going to have more than two glasses of wine. One of my other favorite drinks to order while I enjoy a slice of their cheesecake is their espresso martini. If you enjoy martinis and coffee, you'll enjoy this one. Their food options are good. I was excited to finally come watch a movie to this location as it's close to my home. However I was disappointed in the lack of customer service , food quality and atmosphere. In my opinion it seems they are understaffed even though the theater was pretty empty. Our movie showed sold out however only 1/3 of the seats were occupied. You walk in and there is no one to greet you and let u know where to print ur ticket or where your theater room is located. No one checks to make sure you purchased a ticket. The location wasn't clean, the bathrooms were dirty, the seat I purchased was broken. (Theater 6 Row H Seat 6) Our movie started at 7, we arrived at 6:30 and ordered food. The rest of our party arrived after us and ordered their food and they got what they ordered before we did. I couldn't take a picture as they brought us our food after the movie started. I ordered cheese fries with brisket, however I was given only cheese fries. My husband ordered pretzel bites which arrived cold. They don't bring you silverware unless you ask for it and they charge you for everything. The pretzel bites say they come with cheese, but you get charged for a side of cheese. I asked for ranch for my fries and was charged for it. They also add a tip to your check without telling you that it will be added automatically. Definitely not returning to the establishment. I do not recommend coming here. If you are in the area and looking for a dine in movie theater go somewhere else. read more
