One reason we picked them was their broad selection of DJs, the way they let us actually select who to match with, and the fact that they were ok with explicit songs at our request, when other DJ groups were not. We told Alex what we were looking for (type of music vibe, bilingual DJs, etc) and he gave us a few DJs to look into. They all had mix samples which led us to picking Jesse. Jesse met with us a few times prior to our wedding and made sure we had all details settled. When we weren't super sure about things, he gave us playlists and other recommendations to help us decide. He was incredibly patient with us especially as we were indecisive about a few things and changed things along the way. On the day of, it was honestly the best experience we could've ever asked for. Jesse checked in with us right at grand entrance to kick things off, and continued to do so throughout the night. The flow of the program was great and his mixes were even better. We had a very diverse guest group and everyone felt welcomed with how he handled the music and emceeing. All our guests keep telling us that it was the longest they had been on a wedding dance floor ever, especially since we added a few extra hours. Charlie was able to find a person to cover our wedding just a couple days before the wedding date. He has excellent examples of different styles of videography they could provide and what that pricing would look like. Charlie's website is perfectly user-friendly and was precise in their package descriptions and pricing. We personally did not want cinematic style videography that would require a lot of editing on their end. We wanted raw footage that we could keep for generations to show to our future children and grandchildren. The videographer did a phenomenal job at recording the ceremony and some of the reception in an authentic way that encapsulated the feeling of one of the greatest days of our lives. The videographer that covered our wedding, Stephen Daniels, had an exceptional understanding of Charlie's expectations on customer service. Charlie was constantly responsive before the big day and clear about when we should expect the files after the wedding. When he offered additional services in the emails, he presented it in a way that demonstrated his genuine care for weddings and events and not just an "upsell." I could see Charlie's customer service extend to Stephen. Stephen and Charlie knew we went with the most affordable package. Even so, Stephen set up a higher quality microphone and brought two cameras for backup. Charlie's website explains other services he could provide such as DJ-ing. Luckily, my husband is a DJ, but we did have quite a few live singers at our reception. Although we could not afford the microphone package for sound on the live singers, Stephen took the time out of recording to help one of the live singers with their sound quality on their devices. Our wedding was genuinely a DIY wedding ran by the power of Hashem and our community. When Stephen walked into the ceremony space, the most prominent visual part of our wedding, the Chuppah, a canopy in which many Jewish ceremonies take place was not set up. Stephen took time to help our friends and staff with the chuppah. Charlie and Stephen were not required to go beyond expectations, but they did that and then some. Although Charlie markets his work as "cheap videography," he certainly does not cheap out on the quality of their customer service and work. I believe it's fair to give your opinion especially in these types of situation since people book photographers for special occasion and I felt I let others know about what kind of job Amari Productions did for us. With that being said our experience will this company was not good at all. We were extremely disappointed with the photography service provided for our son's wedding. This was the first wedding in our family, and we trusted the team to capture one of the most important and emotional moments of our lives. Unfortunately, the final results fell far below our expectations. Around 35-40% of the photos in the gallery that they provided were duplicates or nearly identical shots with the same angles and poses repeated over and over again. Many important ceremonies were covered very poorly, in several key moments, the photos only showed the backs of people instead of capturing the actual ceremony, emotions, and expressions that mattered most. What makes this even more frustrating is that we had a detailed video call with both the coordinator and the photographer before the wedding. We clearly explained the important ceremonies, family moments, and expectations in advance, so we genuinely believed everything would be handled professionally. Sadly, we now feel that many once-in-a-lifetime memories were not properly captured, and that is something we can never recreate. Wedding photographs are meant to preserve moments for future generations, and it is heartbreaking to feel disappointed when looking back at such an important event. The most disappointing thing was that I communicated my disappointment with two people and neither one of them offered any kind of solution that could have made me feel better. Sometime in situation like this the senior people of the company such as the owners or founders contact the customers and try to see how they can help satisfy the customers but in this case no one bothered. This shows how much they care for their customers. My wife and I regret using this company... we wish we would have done a better job in searching for the right photography company.
