Churchill Arts has an affiliation with the Oats Park Art Center and they are one of the same located at 151 East Park Street in Fallon, NV The Oats Park Art Center has three main rooms inside which house rotating exhibits including paintings, photographs, and sculpture by artists from Nevada and neighboring states. There is a vintage inspired bar there, Very classy. The Barkley Theater, with small balconies and deep-red stage curtains, is lavish but comfortable. Musicians from as far away as Mali and Romania have performed there. A given season might include folk, gospel, rock and zydeco concerts, and the occasional comedy act. I appreciate the fact that Fallon has this venue for the performing and visual arts. It beings culture to this little town. The 2017 -2018 has opened and there are a variety of events happening in Fallon. You can find a list of them on the the Churchill Arts website. Event prices vary from free events to some with a nominal fee.

A second, smaller gallery showcases the work of local artists. The small complex also features a museum shop with irresistable local and imported crafts, jewelry and small works of art, a historic theater with with pitched seating so the entire audience has great views at screenings of vintage films and live music performances and a lounge with an old west style, long wooden bar. During my visit, mixed drinks were made by a novice volunteer so they were unusual, to say the least. After one taste, we decided to stick with beer, which was a bargain.

If zero stars were possible, they'd earn it…read more After being ignored when I reached out privately, I'm posting this publicly. On August 10, 2025, around 12:30 pm, a front-of-house employee who refused to give his name, was openly dismissive, and couldn't competently process a basic credit-card transaction. The encounter was needlessly rude and amateurish--an embarrassment for any business, let alone one that relies on community goodwill. I asked management--quietly and reasonably--for three fixes: 1 - a written apology from the employee, 2 - a written apology from management acknowledging the training failure, and 3 - two complimentary tickets as a minimal gesture to restore trust. The response? - Silence. - No acknowledgment. - No accountability. - No interest in making it right. This isn't a one-off hiccup; it looks like a customer-service culture problem. Until Fox Peak Cinema shows it can train staff, treat patrons with basic respect, and respond when it drops the ball, I'm done. I'll be steering friends, neighbors, and local groups elsewhere--and I'll make sure they know why. Fallon deserves better than this.

That is nice because I come from a busy town where sometimes the showtimes are sold out. We did smell a weird burning smell towards the end of the movie I think it was the heater turning on. So at least we know we won't be cold during the snowy months. The combo meal was a good price you get a choice of hotdog nachos or pretzel and a soda. There is lots of cute photo opportunities inside the theater for all your friends and family to make the memory list forever.

We waited at the cashier/cage for assistance, and even though we already had players' cards, it still took almost five minutes per card. No greeting, no smile, no thank you -- just a flat "here you go." They do have a decent variety of machines -- a mix of newer and older slots, plus poker and keno -- but the machines felt pretty tight. We did manage to make our money back eventually, which was the only upside. We were there for about an hour, and not a single employee acknowledged us or offered a hello. No cocktail server or bartender came by to ask if we wanted anything to drink, although certain guests seemed to get service. Sadly, this visit just reminded us why we stopped coming here when in Fallon. It was disappointing overall. To top it off, we left smelling like cigarettes -- and I quit 20 years ago. Even though they had a few newer machines that I've never seen before, I'm not sure we'll be back. I'll probably just wait until Fernley, Sparks, or Reno gets them.

Sad to see the table games go it is the only place in town that had it. Everyone will go to Reno now. The slots don't hit that's for sure.

It's a everybody knows your name kinda joint. At least that's the feeling I got. I went in here on a Monday night with some friends of my husband. The bartenders Shelly and Steveo were so nice. They really were accommodating. The place was clean and a good temperature. There is a area for Darts and Pool if that is your thing. Hang out with friends listen to music from the juke box that you can download a app for. What convenience I say! There are a few slot machines if you want to gamble a little. Along with a full bar with all the yummy fixings you could ask for. All at a reasonable price for everyone to enjoy themselves without breaking the bank. There is also a hall area you can reserve out it comes with a full working kitchen, dining slash dance area and pantry. Talk to the staff for making reservations and make sure you are a member and if not ask about joining.
