I hadn't been to this new location of Brush & Barrel before (they moved to this location from the…read more1st Ave location in 2021), so this was a great chance to check it out. My husband and I had such a great time testing out our creative brains as we painted Picasso-inspired faces. Thankfully, the staff were generous with the paint! I think I asked for more paint 3-4 times... maybe I just like to glob in on, though. :) The space we painted in fit approximately 20-25 people. There was another room where splatter painting occurs. I think every one of us in our group said, "OooooOOOOooooo," as we passed that room on our way out. I will be curious to check it out sometime.

After weeks of going thru this my granddaughter finally got her piece they also said that if you don't pick up your piece by seven days, they throw it out . Horrible service i never heard a I'm sorry fr the lady with glasses who I dealt with or give my granddaughter a free piece To paint something?!?! They acted like they did nothing wrong.

I was looking for a class in pottery for my 17 year old granddaughter that would teach her to throw…read morepots. I was interested in taking the class also. We contact Tonya Hardy and she had a class coming up so we jumped right in. My granddaughter had thrown a few pots in a high school art class but the instructions were just a you tube video. Tonya was a great teacher and worked with both of us, encouraging us to push the envelope. Lots of fun and experience gained. when the class was over we bought studio time and we are still throwing pots at Happily Handmade.
