As new members, we decided to try the Father's Day brunch, and it exceeded every expectation. It was easily one of the best brunch experiences we've ever had. The food was outstanding: from the perfectly prepared New York strip to the delicious Eggs Benedict and everything in between. What really stood out was the exceptional service. The pool staff is incredibly attentive, and there was never a moment when we had to search for assistance. The fitness center is also top-notch and clearly well maintained. Referred to as the 'grande dame' of clubs in the Quad City area, the Club hosts a variety of gatherings and is an ideal place for numerous occasions. The chef has continued to introduce new and interesting ingredients - some from their on-site garden - creating a "farm-to-fork" experience when possible. The Outing Club is a members only private club in Davenport. The membership fee and annual dues are significantly lower than the dues at other clubs in the Quad Cities, but the facilities are still great. The pool was recently expanded and a state-of-the-art gym was constructed in 2012. The gym has 24/7 access, is kept very clean and never has broken equipment. We roll in after work around 5PM and there are normally one or two other people there, if that. We joined for the gym and pool, and it has been worth it. No monthly minimums, but the food is actually pretty good if you're looking for a nice dinner. Typically have extravagant brunch setup in the upstairs ballroom for holidays. If you're looking for a CC to golf at this isn't your place (though they do have two sister clubs that you can golf at), but everything else is on par/better than the other private clubs in the QC. read more

Probably the worst place to hold a wedding reception. Only take cash and the bar tender decide to tell you as you order. They place to appetizers right in the middle of where everyone walks. And the way the set up your dining utensils is just atrocious. You don't know who's knife is who's or water. It's all spread out amongst the table read more

Yes 2 times, unfortunately it was after 2 separate memorial services that the family had. The food was light fare, but VERY attentive staff, the food was excellent, nice linens and tablecloths. Comfortable seating, places to hang our coats as we stepped into this particular dining area only open for us. It was pleasant, we didn't feel hurried, the staff again very attentive to keeping our glasses filled and plates whisked away after we were finished. We all could sit and talk and remember our friends, it made the rest of the day easier to cope with after the luncheon whilst reminiscing about our friend's passing. read more
