After explaining to Alisha, I just wanted a little something extra done to my hair , she understood exactly what I wanted. She delivered and my hair feels great! I have a stylist whom I love in Manhattan, but nothing beats close to home for the convenience! I don't go into the city too often these days. My first time here was nothing short of perfect (blowout for my wedding, see previous review) and this go-around, I had my celebratory Covid cut and colo, again with Samantha who is simply awesome. She does whatever she can to make you comfortable and satisfied with your hair and I love the end result. Everyone in there is masked up and socially distanced. The salon is bright and beautiful. Plenty of parking on the street and in a lot across the street, tooo. It was my first time getting my hair done in a year, people! I feel pretty again!

Asked her if she could tell what the previous stylist did and she said yes. Told her "perfect, please just mimic that and cut off 1.5-2 inches" During the cut the stylist never adjusted my middle part to make sure everything was center prior to cutting. Didn't question it since she said she was from a very famous high end salon close to NYC and had been a stylist since 2009. The end shape was kinda like the photos so I didn't say anything at the time. The next night after I washed my hair I noticed a section of hair that was longer than it should have been. Brushed it off but then kept thinking how the stylist never checked to make sure her cuts/layers were even. Checked to see if things were even tonight and was horrified. The front of the cut is definitely not even. Can't speak to the back since that's not easy for me to see. Highly disappointed bc I went with a stylist that was highly reviewed on their appointment booking app.
