Times and priorities change.... I decided to give it a try. I had my full back and shoulders done, for just over $100 not including tip. The appointment was easy to book online. Set up an account, book the time, you pay when the service is complete. I booked both services with Cassandra. She was superb! The girl at the reception counter was very sweet too. There were some parts that did hurt quite a bit, but it is over quick. Once the was is pulled off, the pain only lingers for a few seconds. She didn't laugh at me while I was spewing a stream of curse words every time a section was pulled. She may have had to go over some spots twice - sorry! The soothing gel treatment at the end really cools the whole area off. The whole thing was over in 30 minutes, maybe a little longer. Now I feel a bit less embarrassed taking my shirt off at the beach or pool, and no worries about the reactions when a woman touches my back. Definitely would recommend.

I've been paying…read moremonthly for the past 4 months, yet I haven't been able to receive proper treatments because they are either unable to schedule me on the days I'm available or they cancel without notice. On August 26, I came in for my appointment but was told I couldn't be treated because I was tanning month ago and that's understandable so they only did a small test area and rescheduled me for September 9. When I arrived on September 9, I was told I didn't have an appointment--even though I had the confirmation. If it was canceled, I should have at least received a call or email. Instead, I wasted 30-40 minutes driving there only to be turned away. To make matters worse, the receptionist offered me only half a treatment (half legs) and expected me to wait an hour, even though I pay for full legs and had a confirmed appointment. It's completely unacceptable to be charged every month, go 4 months without treatment, and still not receive the service I'm paying for. This place needs to take accountability for poor scheduling, lack of communication, and wasting customers' time and money.

I also had some darkening of the skin in the areas where I had been tweezing, which had become quite noticeable and bothersome. While the first esthetician was very nice, I was a little concerned with the little sores I seemed to have after each treatment. After speaking to a friend, I decided to try another electrologist. I must say I was very pleased with Cathy's technique - no noticeable scarring on my face and her concern re: the condition of my skin. She is very sensitive to how you are doing during the treatment and checks-in throughout the session to make sure that you are not experiencing too much discomfort (she is treating individual hairs). While electrolysis does take longer than other methods of hair removal, I will say that it is well worth the wait. After going to Cathy, my unwanted hair is not just unnoticeable - IT IS GONE and my skin has cleared-up entirely. A friend recently commented on the absence of the dark spots I previously had on my chin. The business is in a great, discreet location. And, Cathy is a wonderful esthetician who makes you feel at ease and is really willing to work with you.
