When she got there she was switched to a new hairstylist and afterward had to pay 3 times more than what she's paid in the past. Classic bait and switch con! Wife went here for her scheduled appointment to get her hair done by Brenda. Almost a hundred dollars later she came home crying with half blue hair, gold streaks and dark brown scalp! The dark brown was also on her forehead and cheek from the dye! She had to live with it for 4 days until we could get an appointment to fix it in redding! ($300.00 to fix) I'm so disappointed in the fact that an owner was to preoccupied with other things in her salon then to pay attention to a scheduled paying customer. My wife was so disappointed in her hair and the Quality of the work that she didn't fell comfortable with having Brenda fix the problems. (Side note) she also thought it was very unprofessional that the employees in the salon were discussing clients by name and how ridiculous they were with their demands and expectations. read more

Yesterday I called to make an appointment to fix my hair. My friend and I tried a home box color that left my hair orange. They not only got me in the same day but scheduled me with the most amazing stylist ever. Josh is new to the salon and he is a miracle worker. Not only did he turn my nightmare hair into my dream hair but he did it on his day off. He is amazing!! Very unsatisfied with their customer service. I scheduled a package for a manicure/pedicure for my wife and mother a day in advance. They were too disorganized to perform a manicure/pedicure, but my wife was at least able to get a manicure. Even worse, the second technician scheduled for my mother was rude and essentially refused to provide service. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend to anyone. First off, they were incredibly disorganized. We were not walk-ins, we had scheduled appointments. Not being prepared in unacceptable. Secondly, refusing customer service is insulting and bad business. Needless to say...we will not be going back. read more

I called in the morning at 9 and was able to book an appointment at 11:15. Stacy Woods is amazing!! I asked for highlights and strawberry blonde lowlights to warm up the color of my hair and she consulted me about the color and was able to give a great, natural and sunkissed look. I had blonde hair before but it was too yellow tinted for my taste. She highlighted only to where the old highlight had grown so as not to damage my hair. The cut she gave was great, textured, polished and layered. She did something called lingerie layers that look more natural so that my hair wouldn't look thin because it is quite long. She also gave me great advice on hair products and styling tips. She also did my eyebrows perfectly, not too thin just well shaped. And I got out of there for under 100 dollars including a generous tip. I will definitely be going back here! read more

Brenda is a complete professional! I am new to town and wanted bangs. This is not an easy decision to make, especially in a new town, but Brenda made me feel at ease and ready to take the plunge. I have not let anyone touch my hair for over 12 years. Mostly because I am cheap and have been doing my own color and trims. My hair was FRIED beyond repair, or so I thought. The ends felt like a straw broom and only with great effort does my hair ever look halfway decent. I booked my appointment super-conveniently through Facebook, revealing the severe damage and expecting someone to suggest cutting off the damaged parts. The response I got was "I can fix that!". And Brenda definitely made good on this promise. I have done deep conditioning before with limited, short-term results. Brenda used some amazing product and it totally restored my hair - it is strong, resilient, shiny and not dry anymore. She used low-ammonia color and at my request matched my natural color, leaving some of it as I want to "gray gracefully". It looks super natural and super healthy. She also gave me samples of an organic hair product that's fabulous. I am a huge fan and will be back!! read more

Being new to the area, we had no idea where to start when looking for somewhere to get our hair trimmed. Thank goodness we found Studio B on yelp! We called this morning and Mary was able to get us both in at 11:00. She was very friendly and terrific with our hair. She was also super kind and engaging with both of my kids (ages 7 & 11).
