It's tough to find a hairdresser that meets your needs after forming that bond for so many years, so I have only gotten my hair done twice since moving here. Once was at Studio B which was alright but I really wanted to change over to a more natural approach so I was referred to Kathy by a friend. I'm ever so happy with my choice as Kathy went above and beyond to not only make me feel heard, she has a way with communication that goes beyond words. I was there for a couple hrs but the time just flew by, and we had the most fantastic flow of conversation. She's very well traveled and her mind is a library full of so much knowledge and adventures. I could of easily just fell asleep while she did my hair as she never pushed me for conversation, so please be aware that she's not pushy in the least. The end result was leaving with beautifully more natural looking hair that didn't smell of heavy chemicals and a delightful variety of things to read, learn and ponder on. Usually I am sad when I cut my hair and I will admit I am was a little at first, but Qi did such a great job that it didn't take long for me to be absolutely obsessed and in love with my hair :) Her shop is really cute, intimate, and has really amazing energy.
