Whether it's color, cut, or a full transformation, she truly knows what she's doing and takes great care of me from start to finish. Yes -- it's expensive (I never spend less than $500), but honestly, it's worth every cent. You can tell you're in the hands of someone who's experienced, talented, and thoughtful about her work. She also offers a free consultation, which I really appreciate. Appointments can take time (mine have ranged from 3-5 hours depending on the service), but it never feels rushed. Sahar's assistants--who I believe are family--help her out and keep everything flowing smoothly. The whole team is super professional and kind. The salon vibe is always on point--there's music, it's busy, and it feels like a place where people actually enjoy being. Booking is also super easy through Instagram. She responds quickly, and one time even moved my appointment up because I had a vacation coming up--so accommodating! If I could afford it more regularly, I'd come all the time. Even her $80 haircuts are out of my budget for frequent visits, but I 100% recommend her for both special occasions and regular care if you can swing it. My hair always looks and feels its best after seeing her.

He was thoughtful and understanding and understood my wants; including time to explain to me how to maintain it. After providing guidance to his kind assistant, Quinn, to take over from there, I was given exactly what I wanted (and all within an hour!). I am super happy with how it turned out and I'd go back for sure - but definitely with Carlos/Quinn directly next time! ORIGINAL REVIEW: I really wanted to love this salon because of all the glowing reviews, but unfortunately it was a miss for me. After showing a picture of my color choice to the hairstylist, I walked out much blonder than I had hoped and a super brassy shade. When I went back to fix it two days later, I was charged (semi understandable) and it was still wrong. I should have known it wasn't going to be a fit when I asked my stylist how she would find a perfect color for a client and her response was "tough question. I don't know". Sigh. I knew I was late so I said, "please just give me a haircut" to respect my hairdressers time. When I went to pay, O'Hair Salon's Salon Manager made the decision to charge me the full amount of the foil I did not receive- I would. have been ok for a fee but $175 for being 30 minutes late .?? AND, in addition to paying around $230 4 times a year for seven years.... to do the math... This is spending over $10,000 over 7 years. To not cut me a break.... not cool and disrespectful, to me, as a patron. O'hair Salon needs to check themselves when it comes to this type of management judgement calls.
