However, I'm not totally satisfied with the final product. When they said they were finished, it looked decent, but when I asked for it to a bit shorter, they wavered a bit. So she did cut it a bit shorter, but then everything got all messed up. It's not like "fading in" properly and just looks like a mish mash of hair cutting. I know it'll grow back, but I'm not really happy with the product, though the service was nice.

During her appointment, the owner, a man with glasses, approached her and told her that her hair was "ugly and dead" and "needed to be cut." Feeling pressured and self-conscious by these comments, she allowed him to cut her hair. The result was a disaster. The haircut was uneven and left her hair in a dry, brittle state that has taken months of expensive treatments and extensions to manage. While she did receive some highlights that were part of the service, the unexpected, forceful haircut combined with additional products pushed the total cost to nearly $700, far more than what she had expected to pay that day. She has been forced to spend significant money and effort just to restore her confidence and repair the damage caused by this "professional." The Financial Reality: The salon has attempted to dismiss our concerns by focusing on the "service fee" of $440. However, after being pressured into additional products and the forced haircut, the total came to $700. It is unacceptable to use such high-pressure tactics on a teenager--first insulting her hair and then charging a premium total for a result that left her devastated. Zero Accountability: When we reached out to address the emotional and physical impact of this service, the salon was cold and dismissive. Instead of offering any remedy for the poor workmanship, they sent messages stating: * "There is no further action we are able to take." * "A phone call would be strictly for clarification and closure, not to... alter the outcome." They have since blocked us, refusing to take any responsibility for the distress caused to a minor. They even tried to question timestamped photos that clearly show the poor quality of the cut. The Bottom Line: This salon showed a complete lack of empathy and professional ethics. They took advantage of a minor's trust, humiliated her, and charged a total of $700 for a service that resulted in months of psychological stress and hair repair. I strongly advise parents to stay away. I have attached the date-stamped photos of the haircut below so you can see the results for yourself.
