For the price point, I was expecting a better experience I came here on a Saturday for a last minute cut - it was the only place I could find that would accommodate and I booked a level 3 stylist She had to take me to 4 different sinks to find one that wasn't broken and the one she even put me in - the water temperature was off - cold at first then warmer then colder She told me that can happen and I mentioned it was too cold, to which she told me "yeah if I make it hotter it could burn you but it will warm up" I know they also say a scalp massage is included but I wouldn't call what she did much of a massage It was a barely 30 second scalp wash She also didn't really follow what I asked for hair length and cut off quite a bit more than I wanted I asked for 1-2 inches and she took off over 3 During the blow dry, she had to switch blow dryers as well - she was using someone else's and then they needed it so she took a loaner one which was not as hot.... and then another stylist needed that blow dryer as well I felt a bit rushed too I was done in about 45 min, which seems quick for a wash, cut and blow dry Not really the level of service I would expect at $80 or from Fiorio read more

After my hairdresser moved to Florida I spent 6 months trying to find one who can work with my hair - no I am not picky, I was just born with "difficult" hair :-) Finally, I ended up at Fiorio, it is a nice place, very fancy and upscale. I have been there 3 times so far and every time I get compliments after the haircut. Even my husband now notices when I get one... Besides, when your girlfriends ask the name of your hairdresser you know that you picked the right one :-) The place is expensive though, that's why it is 4 stars rather than 5. I've been going to the Vaughan Mills Fiorio for over 2 years now. The Salon as undergone a massive makeover and looks absolutely amazing! Price range for this Salon is comparable to those downtown in Yorkville, but for the service and experience, it's well worth it. I'm a very picky client, I will admit and it took me a while to find the right hair dresser here but I'm so glad I never gave up. I go to the salon about every 2 weeks to get my hair cut by Cheryl. An absolute treat! Everyone is so friendly and takes the time to get to know you. I have gotten my hair coloured here but to be honest for my particular hair and for what I particularly like, I would not recommend it here. I find the price is just not as worth it as the actual cut All in all, a great time here and will continue to be a loyal client for years to come! read more

Horrible experience, I went in to buy a Christmas gift & like many guys thought a spa package was a great idea, I bought a facial/massage deal with a manicure for my wife, my mother in law & my sister in law. I asked if, because I was buying 3 packages, if anything could be added, and was told that each would get a free eye brow wax. When my wife & her mother went with the gift certificates they received a facial & free massage as stated in the Christmas package but when they went to pay the teller was dumbfounded, she didn't understand....or have a record of what the deal I was offered was supposed to be. My wife called told explained the situation & I described who sold me the package, my wife relayed the info to the teller who stated "Oh that was Rose Mary (or something like that) NO WONDER!" and proceeded to state that the details of the package should have been written on the card & the offer could not be honored....basically stating that they either will not honor the deal stated or that they thought my wife was lying & that the manicure which was paid for along with the free eyebrow waxing would not happen because the gift cards were maxed out . So to sum it up, they took what was actually a great experience for my wife into a horribly disappointing situation proving that they have an inadequate system to handle simple spa packages, horrible service and in the end they actually screwed my wife & mother in law out of the manicure I paid for along with a promised add-in for buying 3 packages. Needless to say that they will not receive any more of my business & I will warn every one of their horrible customer service & dishonesty. read more

I've had hairstylists here glance at the picture of the haircut that I show them for less than a second, and then completely cut my hair wrong. If I want bangs that are covering my eyes almost, why would you cut my bangs so short that they are an inch away from my eyes. It is VERY different visually. I tried to attribute the short cut as an honest mistake, so I came again. But once again, they are not even looking at the picture I show them and then getting it wrong. Clearly, it's not an honest mistake but rather due to a lack of care. I really wanted to like this place, but if you cannot even bother to look at the picture I show you, then you clearly don't care and prefer free styling on my hair. read more

The customer service at this establishment was absolutely disgusting! After booking an appointment two weeks in advance for the day after my sisters wedding (the day before she left for her honeymoon) we were advised they had made an error and no appointments were booked. After fully admitting blame they had no desire to accommodate us. The answer we got was sorry but nothing we can do. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS SALON TO ANYONE!! read more

Booked online for appointment, which convenience was great. Experience was overall unfortunate. From greeting in the salon where the lady at the desk wasn't very friendly and just walked and expected me follow without engaging and with myself being a new client that made me unsure as I wasn't sure where or how things worked in that salon. I had my consult prior to getting my hair done, I have plenty of experience in changing hair styles and know that first time bleach results aren't instant. The girl wrote off basically what I said and told me not to expect much, I only mentioned I wanted a cool tone and nothing warm even if it stays dark! Mid way during bleach the stylist had another client which is understandable but she basically passed me off to two other girls and didn't say anything really after, including not even checking on her work. Which by the way, is orange. While I was getting my hair cut after with girl #3, I was noticing the other employees gossiping which I get is normal but really didn't look professional. For a salon with such a reputation I was very disappointed. Hopefully in two weeks another salon can fix my orange hair. read more

I have been to other location with great results so I thought I would try this one. Big mistake, there is a reason why their entire day is not booked. I got Michelle as my stylist, she smiled once when I was paying, she half assed my hair cut, barely blow out my hair, cut my bangs without any communication to the length or the style. Overall felt like I was at First Choice Haircutters, I expect more with the $$$ price tag. Stay away from this location and this stylist. read more
