Super cute place and the tri tip sandwich was so good. The fruit and veggies were super fresh too. The service was great very tentative.

Practically perfect in every way. Amelia and the rest of the staff were attentive, genuinely welcoming, and kept everything running seamlessly from start to finish. Both of us ordered the Prime Rib Dip with fries--and wow. The beef was incredibly tender and flavorful, with not a trace of fat or gristle. The rich, savory au jus added even more depth, and the horseradish sauce brought just the right amount of kick to complement every bite. Even the fries arrived hot, crisp, and satisfying after a full day on the road. Although we visited on a Monday and missed the live piano music, the warm atmosphere, outstanding food, and exceptional service more than made up for it. North 40 Chophouse delivered an experience that was well worth the stop, and we'll gladly return the next time our travels bring us through North Platte.

We both had a prime rib dip and it just melted in your mouth. We ended up sharing an espresso crème brûlée for dessert and it was delicious as well. Service was great and our waitress was very friendly and sweet. If you're in town and looking for a great place to eat, I would highly recommend this.

This restaurant was genuinely incredible. The ambience, light fixtures, and mood was great. Our…read moreserver, Kayla, was very professional, never let our drinks get empty, and had great recommendations. We got the Brussel Sprouts for an app. They had a delicious sauce and they were cooked to perfection. The French Dip was the real star of the show. The meat was so tender and was probably the best French dip I ever had. The sweet potato fries come with a marshmallow/cinnamon dipping sauce that is very good if you like your sweets. We polished off dinner with the salted caramel lava cake. It was delightful. It was so refreshing to be surprised by how wonderful this restaurant was and how nice the employees were. I can't wait to come back someday

We were driving across country and decided to pull over in North Platte for the evening. I looked…read morefor a restaurant recommendation and found The Cedar Room. We walked in and there are two large rooms, one dining and one bar/dining area. There is a small bar at the far end that sits around 6 or seven people. We were sat near the window and our server was Penny who was excellent. Penny constantly checked in with us and we were never left wait for service. When it came to ordering wine/cocktails, we were immediately put off by the price of wine. The bottles have an approximate 75% mark up on retail. Way overpriced. You don't see these prices even in the most expensive of steakhouses in my opinion. A glass of wine was the price of a bottle at retail. We elected to go with cocktails. For appetizers, we ordered the Wild Mushroom Brie & Ciabatta. $19 Seared Brie Cheese, brandy glazed belle mushrooms, balsamic reduction, fig chutney; served with Ciabatta toast points. This was good. Cowboy Calamari. $19 Breaded Flat iron sirloin steak bites, fried; served with gravy. I was so looking forward to these but I couldn't even taste the meat.....at all! They were so overly breaded and the steak cut so thin that we felt we were just eating the breading. The gravy was tasty but we couldn't finish the steak bites as we just didn't taste any steak. We split a Cedar Room Wedge. $16 Iceberg, bacon bits, tomatoes, cucumbers, blue cheese crumbles; served with dressing of choice. They split it on two plates and basically did a deconstructed salad. It was fine. After not having a great experience with the food and prices of their wine, we elected to leave and skip the dinner. Although we loved our server Penny and it was a cute establishment, we probably would not return.

My friends and I were really looking forward to an evening where we could catch up, visit, and…read moreenjoy a good meal together. We chose The Station on a Saturday night and weren't surprised when we were told there would be about a 30-minute wait. We told the hostess we were going to the bar to have a drink while we waited for our table. After waiting 45 minutes, we checked on our table only to be told that because they saw us sitting at the bar, they had given our table away. No one came to let us know it was ready, despite us asking them to. That was incredibly disappointing. Since we had already waited so long, we decided to stay and order food at the bar, hoping another table would open up. Unfortunately, we were never offered a table even though the restaurant was now less than half full. We were never seated at a table for our meal. The six bar stools were arranged in a straight line, and I ended up at one end of the bar. Between the distance and the loud noise level, I couldn't even carry on a conversation with four of my friends--the very reason we had gotten together. The service continued to disappoint. Our group of six ordered at the same time, yet four meals were served first. The last two of us, who had each ordered hamburgers, didn't receive our food until after the other four had completely finished eating. No explanation was offered, and no one attempted to make the situation right. To add to the frustration, two of us ordered the exact same drink, but they were served in noticeably different-sized glasses while we were both charged the same price. The food itself was good and offered some unique menu options, which is the reason I'm giving more than one star. However, the overall experience was frustrating. What should have been a fun evening catching up with friends turned into a series of disappointments. Good food can only make up for so much when the service and overall experience fall this short. Sadly, after this experience, I'm not sure I'll be returning defiantly not with more than three people.

It was a large space, and despite its positive first impression, we were a little concerned because there were no customers. Perhaps 5:30 on a weekday was too early for the area. It was obvious our server was new because she wasn't too sure about the menu, but she got the answers we needed. The "special" lasagna my wife ordered ended up being unavailable, so she went with the regular lasagna. The presentation and taste of our pasta entrees was very good. I went with the regular-size beef stroganoff instead of the large portion and glad I did because the sauce was heavy and contained a lot of beef. We also ordered their special bread (assorted 4-count) and it came out soft and warm with a delicious spread on the side. I'd definitely recommend checking out Joy's Table if in the area. By the way, two more tables came in by the time we left. I guess it's a late dinner crowd.
