To my surprise, I was told that I was being "disruptive and inconsiderate" and instructed not to make appointments unless I was certain I could keep them. For context, I hadn't even had this appointment booked for a full 24 hours, and I was making a genuine effort to communicate rather than leave someone waiting for me. I completely understand that cancellations and scheduling changes can be frustrating for a small business, but unexpected circumstances happen, and there is a professional way to communicate with customers. Being spoken to this way simply for trying to give advance notice and explore alternative availability was completely unnecessary. I've honestly never experienced anything quite like it. I'm actually glad I got to see how potential customers are treated before spending my money here. Needless to say, I won't be rescheduling or considering this salon in the future.
