I went in with a friend who was genuinely experiencing a hair crisis and wanted to purchase a wig. The woman behind the counter told us she did not have time to help us because she already had two customers, which we completely understood. What was strange, however, was that when I asked if we could simply browse the wig selection on our own, she refused to allow us to do so. This left us feeling surprised and at the same time we felt like it was all super weird especially given the sensitive nature of why many people visit a wig shop in the first place.
