They have their own private space, use their own products, and handle the administrative aspects, too, such as scheduling, billing, etc. Initially, having direct contact with my former stylist seemed like a positive thing...until it wasn't. My review is specifically in reference to one of the stylists, Erin G. Regardless of how amazing a stylist can cut, highlight, or style your hair, if you consistently fail to respond to text messages or say, "I thought I responded" or "I forgot," or blame the client, that is unprofessional and unacceptable. When not just days, but weeks pass, that is indicative of a pattern, not just an isolated event. This is also a poor reflection of the company whose products you're representing, as well as the establishment. It's unfortunate when one person, Erin, can have a negative impact on a salon, especially when her behavior isn't necessarily indicative of the salon as a whole. Word of mouth is powerful and, should you decide to choose go to Sublime Salon, I do not recommend Erin G. if you value consistency, honesty, and professionalism.

Made me an appointment at the last minute. I'll be returning here to get my braids taken OUT.
