I am completely dumfounded that someone could leave a negative review of Frank's efforts in any capacity, whether they be studio drumming, lessons, recording--you name it. He is a consummate professional and one of the hardest working people I have ever met in my life, who makes this look easy (doing music professionally). The only people who would leave a negative review are posers and reverse-shills. Having worked with Frank in nearly every facet, short of being taught how to play drums (I have taught with him though for years), it goes without saying for me, that he is worth every star I just gave him, because that is what he is: a star and a sun. If you don't believe that as well, it is because you reside in the shadows, where you belong. A bright star casts a dark shadow, and there you are. Frank has played on many of my songs and has recorded and engineered on more songs than I can count well beyond my meager contribution to music as an art form. You don't need to take my word for it. Yelp says "Recording and Rehearsal" studio but the owner on 4/10/25 informed me they do not offer a rehearsal space, only recording. After communicating with the owner I realize this discrepancy was unintentional and not his fault. The owner, Frank, by the way was really kind to reply to my inquiry quickly and from his XCLNT reputation in our community (I live nearby) I'm leaving 5 stars anyway. New year, new me right? Over the years I was a broken record talking about how I wanted to learn the drums but never got around to doing it. Fast forward to the new year and I told myself 2024 was going to be the year I do what *I* really want (I've also been dying for a creative outlet). As far as musical background I've only played the saxophone (and recorder ) but haven't played since childhood. I lean more clumsy and uncoordinated so imagine the anxiety about going into my first lesson lol. After the first couple of minutes I felt super comfortable; Frank is really nice, easygoing and patient. I couldn't believe I was actually playing music my first lesson! The setup is really cool; there are two drum sets facing each other (he's on the other side) and you're able to hear him and the music through the ear protection he offers. I've been playing drums for a little over 20 years now with no formal training so my style is all over the place, fortunately I've found Studio 333 where I have been able to develop my chops and have also learned to play new styles of music. At age 32, I was skeptical at learning an instrument I had never tried before. Frank reassured me that it was never too late and that people he's taught are from similar circumstances. He has impressive video and recording equipment in his studio as well, but I was most impressed by his teaching and what I learned. I just recently started taking drum lessons 6 months ago. I decided to randomly take up drum lessons this summer, and I've never felt this comfortable at any music lesson before. The studio looks great and feels professional.
