We were lucky and got to experience Liron Man play for us since he was here for a music convention. He's been playing for 20 years and you can definitely feel how much heart he puts into his music. It is Dave's shop and he was very sweet. He actually makes the hand pans which is very cool. Daniel was our instructor and he was very engaging and funny. I loved his energy. He told us about the different types of handpans and went over the rhythm, melody, harmony, and silence. Daniel was kind and went around the room to individually help everyone. I'm so glad I got to try it out. I'll definitely be coming back as it's $75 for an hour lesson. It's also $150 a month to rent out a handpan which also goes toward the payment for if you decide to buy.

Well, she was good, but she was also a bit shaming and stern. I can play the piano decently well, but I rarely want to do so publicly because I have mild PTSD from my experience with her. Camilo is completely the opposite. He inspires joy in my daughter so she wants to practice and looks forward to performing. Camilo is personable and totally comfortable with children (my daughter is 9), which I absolutely appreciate, because she's not afraid of him and will talk with him about anything. Plus, this guy is incredibly talented (I get to hear him play during lessons from time to time) and he is naturally adept at teaching what he knows to newbies. After only a year, my kid is playing things I didn't expect. She has a long way to go, but she's come so far in such a short time.
