I have used this clinic for about 30 years, but their lack of after surgery care provided after regular business hours is ridiculous! It doesn't exist. Michael Lenover doesn't recommend Fairchild Animal Hospital. 3d * You need to let people know that you have no afterhours care for the pets left with you. Had I have known you were going to leave Missy unsupervised after surgery, I would have picked her up rather than leave her alone. She also apparently died eating dry food (so shortly after her surgery) as it was falling out of her mouth when I picked up her dead body. She might have died from choking on the food and your lack of after surgery care rather than her condition.

I am really pressed with the care that Dr. Girouard provided my little dog Kabuki. He was…read morepersonable, professional, and efficient. My poor dog was in a lot of pain when he came in. I stopped in Danville as I was traveling back to Chicago- getting treatment was an emergency. After X-Rays, an ultrasound, and blood work, it turned out that he had kidney stones that needed to be removed. Dr. Girouard worked all Saturday afternoon to get Kabuki taken care of. He had to do two incisions to remove all the stones from the urethra and bladder. The surgery took about 1.5 hours, then it was another couple hours for Kabuki to recover and clear of the anesthesia. Before and after the surgery, the vet spent time with me to answer all my questions and explain medically, why the stones could be happening. I am so happy with how well my dog was taken care of, and how well I was treated as a concerned pet owner. I had some interaction with Dr. Ardisana as well, and she was also personable and very sharp. All the staff was attentive, which I really appreciate. I would definitely recommend Dr. Girouard to any dog owner! This is a great animal clinic

Seems to lack adequate management that educates and values the employees And strictly sticking to that bottom dollar. Revalue the priority of being the only local pet store and focus on that aspect of your community so it can in return elevate that bottom dollar issue leading to exceptional service and what the customer is truly expecting walking into a pet store.
