Went online and scheduled an appointment with Devon at Eaton Rd. location in Green Bay. Scheduling…read moreonline was easy. It was my first full service haircut at The Barbershop. I received a friendly greeting from a person at the reception desk as soon as I walked in. I took a seat in one of the comfortable leather chairs in the waiting room. Less than 10 minutes later, Devon appeared and showed me to his neat and clean, cubicle type work area. He asked me what type of cut I would like and proceeded to efficiently trim my hair with special attention to the hair over my ears and down the back of my next, which was primarily the reason for the appointment. I requested a light trim and Devon was careful not to cut my hair too short. After he cut my hair, Devon placed a warm towel over my face and tilted the chair back in order to wash and rinse my hair, applying a conditioner in the process. He then added a product to thicken my hair and then blew my hair dry. He also offered an eyebrow trim which I declined. All in all, I was extremely pleased with Devon's service. On a scale of 1-10, I would give Devon a 10. I'm pretty fussy about haircuts, so 10 is a rating I don't often give. Since I was just visiting Wisconsin and have a regular barber in Arizona, I was very nervous about this particular visit. I have to say I would happily return to The Barbershop on Eaton Road in Green Bay as long as I knew Devon was there to cut my hair.

I also got a beard trim so my eyes were covered for about 10/20 mins. My son got done before I did. I was eventually done, I wasn't happy with my beard trim but it's Christmas so I grabbed my son who was patiently waiting, paid, gave a 40% tip and said Merry Christmas. On the way home I looked in the rear view mirror and noticed that one side of my son's head had a chunk off hair chopped out a definite mistake. I watched my son. He sat very still. The people in the barbershop said they couldn't believe how good he was at sitting still. Why did this happen? I got home and my son beat me to the door. This is when I noticed a bunch scratches and tiny cuts all over his neck. He is 4. I asked if I hurt and he said yes but he wanted to sit still and be a good boy. I am leaving pictures because this is terrible. I called the barbershop. They returned the money for his haircut. That ain't it. I will not go back and would not recommend this place to anyone. As for the reason I wasn't happy with the beard trim. It's not nearly as bad as what happened to my son but I'll explain anyhow because it just adds to the overall disappointment of my experience there. I was happy with my hair cut, I asked for the beard to remain the same shape especially on my cheeks. I explained that did not want the beard cut down below my mustache line or reshaped. I just wanted the length trimmed and use a razor to make the lines more distinct. She took it upon her self to line my beard up on my cheeks in the way that she saw fit instead of what I specifically asked for which was to not bring the top beard line down at all. She brought the line down a whole finger width. I didn't want that. Again though I can live with that. What happened to my son is unacceptable for a professional barbershop.

Will Not Be Returning!…read more Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience. This barbershop feels more like an assembly line than a place that values quality customer service. My son arrived on time for his scheduled appointment and was seated promptly. However, just a few minutes into the haircut, the barber informed us that he would not be able to complete everything we had requested because he had another appointment coming up. I don't understand why the next customer should take priority over someone whose appointment is already in progress. If a barber cannot complete the service within the scheduled time, that should not become the customer's problem. It's like going to a car wash, having only half of your car cleaned, and then being told, "Sorry, we have another car waiting." Appointments should be scheduled in a way that allows enough time to complete the service properly. Customers should never feel rushed or receive an incomplete haircut because the shop is trying to maximize the number of appointments.
