The location is an Aveda salon, so it has all the fancy schmancy and expensive products, but my haircut is a dollars cheaper than at her previous salon. The location is small and quaint, and has been remodeled to be more modern, youngish, and more hip. The location is surrounded by good convenience things (grocery store, wine store, Xperience Fitness). I like that I get phone call and text message reminders about my appointments. I also like that I don't get "upsold" to all the time.

Freshair is the kind of…read moresalon where the stylists rent their chairs so I can only speak about Brooke although the salon itself is very nice with a big bowl of candy and lots of current magazines in the waiting room and soda, coffee, and tea offered to all clients. I go to Brooke for haircuts and highlights as well as brow waxes and lash tinting. She is awesome at all of them! She is the kind of stylist who really listens to what the client wants and doesn't try to impose her ideas on you, although if you ask for her opinion she is happy to offer it. I am super picky about my hair and she is always really sensitive to this which I appreciate. I get balyage highlights which are painted on rather than using foils and I love the way they look. They look really natural and tend to grow out much more nicely than traditional foil highlights. I love going to Brooke for eyelash tints before a beach vacation or in the summer when I don't want my mascara to sweat off. All of the services are reasonably priced and Brooke works a variety of times including nights and weekends so it's usually easy to make an appointment. Brooke, you are the best!
