I go to her exclusively for a custom blend of multiple vibrant colors, and what she does is nothing short of artistic genius. She is a sorceress of fantasy colors--she blends an entire rainbow of rich pinks, oranges, yellows, and deep blues and purples into my hair so seamlessly that it looks like a work of art. I can never tell what my hair looks like until I actually leave due to the ancient fluorescent lighting. Jill, aka miracle worker, has been doing my hair for a few years. I went through that spell of bad stylist after bad stylist (even in the trendy hipster salons of Portland) until I found her and haven't looked back. She has knocked every insane request of mine out of the park even if it took a booking or two to get there. I've went from bronde to blonde, near white, then back to my current more natural highlighted light brown as seen in the attached picture, which I adore! She is upfront with expectations, affordably priced (girl... RAISE THOSE PRICES!), she is unreal at balayage/blended highlights and my cuts are always spot on. If you're looking to finally find that hair artist who gets it, book with Jill. I always look forward to catching up with her at my appointments. She's a gem.

First of all, the place is filthy and in disrepair, definitely not run by someone who understands…read morehygiene. I wish I'd taken pictures of some things for the health department. Second, the woman who was working there yesterday is rude to the point of open hostility towards disabled people. She didn't hide her utter disdain and apathy for my mobility problems, and she refused me service on the basis that, when washing my hair at the only angle I'm able to manage to hold my neck at over the wash basin, a bit of water might have run down my neck and dripped onto the floor. The irony of her being horrified by the possibility of needing to mop up a tiny puddle of soapy water afterwards, is that her filthy floor was desperately in need of a good wet mopping anyway. More the point, other salons (such as Vis A Vis) have adjustable wash bowls and chairs so that they can be angled to the need of the customer. That's because the American Disability Act means something to them, and they have a culture of inclusion and accessibility. In contrast, Perfect Cut treats disabled people like dogs to be shooed away with contempt and disgust.
