A month ago, my car was parked in a Pick n Save parking lot and hit by a hit-n-run driver. Luckily, there was a witness, the store had surveillance cameras, the other driver was found by Police, and he had insurance. My insurance company was "Johnny on the spot" and ready to rock to help me get my car fixed and returned me asap, but I preferred to wait a bit and let the other insurance company take care of everything. Located near my house, I'd driven past Studer hundreds of times over the years. I saw great reviews online, so I gave them a shot, and they lived up to the hype! Bob Studer was very professional, friendly, and he expressed his genuine gratitude for my business several times. He explained how they have equipment to scan the car to ensure the electronics for the safety features (blind spot alerts, etc.) were functioning correctly after the body work and later provided me with the report confirming the scan results when I picked up my car. The damage was done on my driver side rear bumper, tail light, and side panel. Bob drove me to pick up my rental car, and I was able to leave my rental car at his shop for the rental company to pick up when I got my car back. My car was dirty when I dropped it off, but washed and shiny when I picked it up. If you ever need body work for your car, I VERY HIGHLY recommend Studer Body & Paint! He personally transported me to and from my car rental agency, worked directly with the insurance company on estimate details, and accelerated my repair to meet my scheduling challenges. They also emailed me pictures and progress so that I knew what was happening with my car. They worked directly with my insurance company so that I didn't have to mess around making phone calls as they were repairing my car. The staff was very helpful and friendly and their work was great. Great place! I stopped in on Tuesday morning to drop my car off before work. I was hoping they could look at my car some time Tuesday and give me an estimate. Bob was so nice, and actually took s quick look at my car right away. He gave me a ball park figure of what he thought the cost would be. I asked him when they could do the repair. He said that after he got all the costs nailed down, they could start THAT DAY! He called with my estimate by 10AM. The estimate was pretty much what he told me earlier that morning. Today is Friday and I have my beautiful car back! They did a great job. I got emails with pictures and updates at least once a day. Great shop locally owned and operated. Not only did he offer a free loaner car (a newer Chevy Malibu) but the car was fixed on time as promised. Bob was extremely friendly, attentive, and took the extra time to explain all pertinent details to me and to listen to my concerns about flaws on my vehicle that were not related to the accident damage. He even replaced a broken tail light with no extra labor charge. Studer is a one-stop shop that will handle all of the details, including arranging for a rental car and dealing with the insurance company. My vehicle was finished exactly when promised and I couldn't believe how easy Bob made the entire experience. Studer Body and Paint is pre-certified by my insurance company, along with several others. They had to earn that certification and are under constant scrutiny to keep it. There's absolutely nothing bad I could say about my whole experience at Studer Body & Paint. From the moment Bob picked up the phone to me driving away just two weeks later, I got nothing short of the best care and professionalism. I wish I could give Studer zero stars. I cannot vouch for the quality of their work because after dealing with Bob Studer, I had my vechicle taken elsewhere. He was very rude, condescending, and outright mean. So much so that I decided to pay to have my car towed to Mander Collision & Glass (very pleased with my experience there) instead. He tried to take advantage of me, a young woman who was alone since my husband is away serving in the US Navy. My car sat in his lot a total of 13 hours, and when he found out that I was not going to have him work on it, he charged me $90 for a "2-day storage fee." I'm not quite sure how 13 hours equals 2 days? When I questioned that, he literally screamed in my face to get out! Horrible business man. I HIGHLY recommend going elsewhere read more

Wow. I can't believe there aren't any reviews on Yelp for Studer (There are several on Google)! I wanted to go with a local business. Studer was recommended to me by Bluemound Auto. My 2012 Nissan was the victim of a hit and run outside of Alterra a few weeks ago. I needed backend and side panel work. I was able to walk-in and get an immediate estimate. Seriously. I walked in and I got an estimate on-site! Not only did the guy at Studer contact and deal with my insurance agency (QBE) directly, they also figured out a way for me to get a car rental that met QBE's daily allotment. I needed a baby safe car and they found me one that made me almost not want my own car back. A week and half later, my car was done and the paint job was perfect. I am not sure how they were able to match the paint so perfectly, but my car looks like new. I've never had to get this type of work done... They use some sort of computer/photo link program. I got pictures of my car as the work was being done (almost daily). The owner is awesome. So glad I went local! read more

Took my Accord here to Studer for some bumper and fender work. Bob is a great guy. He was straight forward in going over the body work needed for my car. Helped make the insurance claim process go smoothly. I needed a rental car and he had one waiting for me at the shop the day I dropped off my car. He kept me informed on the repair process by sending me daily photo updates of the work done on my car. Also, his shop is clean and well maintained.
