However he retired and I moved to Birmingham. I was putting off looking for a new dentist because they are often hard to trust and I feel try to do more work then needed. But, I needed a dentist ASAP because by I cracked my front tooth! I called the next morning and they were able to get me in same day. I was in and out quick, he gave me a great consult and did not overcharge -even undercharged- he also did not do more work to my tooth than necessary. My tooth looks great and I scheduled a future appointment for cleaning! I'm glad I found a new dentist and will recommend to anyone who asks!

I found another dentist and got a lot of work done on my teeth. Since I don't have a dental degree, I generally trust what dentists tell me I should do. I ended up in Dr. Cosgrove's office after all this work and immediately wished I had started here. The staff was kind and went out of their way to explain my insurance coverage and costs before I visited. Dr. Cosgrove took the time to explain the risks and benefits of the treatment he suggested. He did most if not all of the work himself, undercharged me for work he performed, and conversed in a very down to earth way with everyone he interacted with. I think I will switch to his practice: I was very impressed.

I work between AL and TN and after having a horrible tooth extraction out of TN I obtained a dry socket while working near this dental office. I called knowing the office was closing in twenty minutes and without hesitation they told me to come right in and they would gladly pack the socket for me. Everyone within the practice was polite, nice and worked very quickly. The practice itself was beautiful inside and out. The Dentist was thorough, knowledgeable and very nice. Even though they were closed by the time he finished packing my extraction the Dentist was nonetheless friendly and patient and took the time to explain my situation with me. I liked the other dentist and put off finding a new one for awhile. A friend recommend Dr Sampson because he liked him so much. So I decided to give him a try. I got appointments the same week as I called so I was really happy about that! My appointment was for a checkup and teeth cleaning. I filled out the new patient paperwork and went right back for my appointment. I already knew that I needed a couple of crowns and I told Dr Sampson I wanted them done within the month because I was going out of the country. A few days later, I was back in the chair for my crowns. Dr. Sampson's assistant was quick and efficient and had me prepped for Dr Sampson in no time. Dr Sampson is very nice and was concerned about my comfort and made sure there was no pain involved. He really is very warm and caring. I forewarned the office that my daughter didn't like going to the dentist and that they needed to be prepared. The person who cleaned her teeth was super sweet and was so nice throughout the whole thing. No tears this time! All went well. Afterwards I asked her what she thought and she said she liked Dr Sampson's office better! Yay! Looks like we found a new dentist!

They take extra care of you throughout your procedure. Since I'm a weenie with pain, I definitely recommend the laughing gas. I might add that Dr. Drayton is amazing as well. One thing that really touched me was, a patient came in for her appointment and told the front desk staff she didn't have dental insurance. Staff was so helpful and accommodating to her and gave her resources. Most would have turned her a way.
