So I had a consultation for either braces or invisilgn scheduled for today. They asked me before…read morethe appointment date to do the paper work so I did no issues. Here why there getting a 1 star that's right a 1 star review. I arrive for my appointment early they are super rude right off the bat RED FLAG like you need to fill this out go sit down and do it. I informed them I already have had done it on my computer the lady didn't know how to do and ask someone else RED FLAG she like aren't you a good patient and she said it in the way like I'm a dog a dog. like I am coming in to make pick you too fix the thing I hate most my smile which with my amazing dental benefits gonna cost me a couple grand like talk to me like an actual human not like I am your dog. Then every can ear someone in the back coughing like there dying like its bad I have allergies and it didn't sound like allergies. I approach because I was just sick getting more and more uncomfortable for the lady to be like we test like I'm physically uncomfortable RED FLAG making it a joke you test means nothing if your sick your sick no issue but stay home or be a HUMAN like be like can I give a mask to wear or I'm sorry you feel that way ill have them not put you near them. Like I now been waiting for over 15 minutes I ask how much longer till we start my consultation there like we are busy you will have to wait. Like okay I schedule the consult and your telling me you too busy for me to be seen like really like really. I walk out and go home they then call me be like were did you go 10 minutes after I left I said you told me you were too busy. Like the doctor calls me then like why did you leave I told her. Not once did she say please come back I'll get you in asap and try to fix what happened. she just apologized and tryed to justify her teams actions like treating someone poorly that's not acceptable like that's the first face of your business do better let them know this isn't accpetable like do something to make me wanna come back and I would of if she would been like I'm so sorry please just come back ill have that employee stay far away from you do to what took place that didn't happen so I just went home and she wasn't happy when I told her I going to post a 1 star review of my exipernce

I came to this orthodontist after transferring from another provider who had already damaged my…read morebite. He came recommended & the receptionist was very sweet and attentive- so I had hoped for thoughtful, corrective treatment. From the beginning, though, I didn't feel truly heard. My concerns were dismissed during the initial consultation, and the treatment plan had to be redone after I pushed back. I also specifically told the doctor (with photos) that one of his technicians had previously damaged the finish on one of my veneers while placing attachments. Despite that, he still had another technician (unsupervised) remove and replace my attachments again -- even after I expressed how nervous I was about it. The technician was aggressive, rushed, and careless -- using excessive pressure in areas that didn't need treatment at all. I left that appointment with bleeding gums, new gaps between my teeth (particularly the lower front 8), visible enamel thinning, sensitivity and translucency that wasn't there before, and noticeable changes to the shape of my teeth (Which cannot grow back.)I was assured that no IPR would be done, yet the spacing now allows me to move floss side-to-side between teeth that used to be tight. My teeth lost most of their roundness and fullness- they are now flattened, smaller and boxier When confronting them, I was met with gaslighting and lack of accountability. What hurts most is knowing I voiced my concerns more than once -- and was still treated as if they didn't matter. No one should have to fight this hard just to receive careful, respectful treatment. So basically I went in to fix a problem and ended up with an even bigger one. If you're considering this office, I encourage you to advocate fiercely for yourself, ask direct questions, and listen to your gut. I regret not protecting myself more firmly after the first red flag. Patients deserve to be heard and to have their treatment performed with care, especially when they come in already vulnerable and trying to fix previous mistakes.

First time at the new office and I had the pleasure of getting a tour. What a beautiful facility!!…read more Wow!! The front desk receptionists are always so pleasant. I mean, they're always really nice and courteous on the phone when I call to tell them my son has arrived for his appointment. If you think about it, the first person a patient/parent meets is the receptionist so they can make or break the mood of the appointment. No worries here ... receptionists are SUPERB and a pleasure to deal with. My son's appointment today was with Dr. Ari, his orthodontist. Dr. Ari has always been very open and honest with what needs to be done and what can wait to be done at a later time. He is very reassuring whenever I've had questions about when my son would need to get his braces in. My son actually had his braces put in the month before the pandemic began ... but Dr. Ari never skipped a beat. I got monthly calls to see how things were going and Dr. Ari even FaceTimed my son a couple of times to do virtual appointments to check on how his braces were coming along. Obviously during the period while the office was closed, things were hard but once the office decided to open back up, I got a call requesting to make an appt (if I felt comfortable enough ... which I was) for my son to go in and see Dr. Ari in person. I always recommend Dr. Charlie and Dr. Ari to anyone looking for a top-notch pediatric dentist and/or pediatric orthodontist. Wishing Plainview Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontists continued success is 2021 .. and beyond!!!

My Daughter saw DDS Miller for close to 9 years in order to deal with the straightening of her 2…read moreeye teeth. DDS Miller charged a large, but somewhat reasonable up-front fee of $6,000 and a monthly fee of $275 (which did make us a bit nervous). We knew that the process would take a few years to reach completion but had no idea it would last over 9 years before we eventually terminated his services. It was extremely difficult to make appointments with DDS miller at either of his offices which lead to appointments only 1-2 times per month. He rarely listened to our daughter's feedback which created a tense atmosphere for everyone involved. DDS Miller refused to work on more than one problem at a time which lead to this relationship continuing for many more years than necessary; the monthly fee never stopped and lead us to believe that he was purposely extending the treatment. During the time we saw DDS Miller, several other patients mentioned to us their similar feelings but we stayed with Dr. Miller hopeful that the end was near. However, with our daughter about to enter college we decided to cut our losses and retain a more reputable dentist even though we had to pay another up-front fee. This ended up being the worst medical/dental situation I have ever experienced in over 50 years. DDS Miller is an egomaniac; all he wants to hear is how great he is in spite of his suspect results. The only reason we decided not to start a legal proceeding is because we knew how difficult it would be to prove his malpractice in NYS. We highly recommend that you avoid DDS Miller's services at any cost. His antiquated methods are far surpassed by many dentists in and around Long Island.
