I also had to follow up to make sure obvious deductions (like my cell phone expenses) were even included--after I had already provided the documentation! They were NOT initially included. Like wtf??? Communication was dismissive and transactional. Getting clear answers or a simple phone call took way more effort than it should have. A supervisor, Erin, called me and acknowledged Margot's mistakes--but the call was a complete waste of time. No fee reduction, just empty apologies and an offer of "pizza" if I find myself in the area. Completely tone-deaf and unprofessional. Lastly, Margot forgot to add the discount I received for my fees, and I had to tell her to add the discount! Complete lack of attention to detail. FALSELY FILES TAXES. FRAUD. SCAMMED $19k AND WAS CAUGHT…read more This company falsely filed my taxes. I opened a fraud investigation with the IRS. They then lied and claimed their software was hacked. When they fraudulently filed my taxes they attempted to route a check for $19k to an electronic account. THE IRS flagged it and ended up mailing me a hard copy check. If I had not received that hard copy check I never would have known that this FRAUD company was SCAMMING me out of my return and trying to steal $19k from me. Everything I stated above is on record. The owner was reported and yet they still operate. I do not know how many other clients they would try to steal from.
