He told me to call road side assistance and get a jump then call him when I got to Advanced Auto Parts. He told me to get my battery, starter and alternator checked. I did that. The tech was telling me to take it to the dealership because I had a short somewhere. When I called Sam, he spoke to the tech to get all the numerical data. The tests were saying everything was normal but Sam said I had a dead cell in my battery because the numbers were too high. He said I just needed a new battery....he was right. Kevin shared that he was at risk of losing his job and was a lead tech, although listed as the owner. 'Management' also contacted and asked that I take the review down and offered to refund the labor. At this point (2 days later) I had already taken the vehicle to the Toyota dealer, as his 'management' advised the vehicle was complex and initially declined looking at the vehicle without another charge. Toyota Diagnosis: improper fitting and installed spark plugs. Cost: 98$ inspection- which was deducted from repair cost. Repair cost total, including one day vehicle rental, 468.79$. I reached back out to Kevin and 'Management', via text and email, three consecutive days- excluding Sunday, explaining the outcome and requesting a partial refund (spark plugs, diagnosis, and labor). I have not received a response and am now seeking civil action. Receipts attached. Again, the purpose of this review is to bring awareness.

Apparently, they did not secure a hose well enough, and when it came loose, my engine's intake was filled with anti-freeze. I noticed that one of the workstations in the garage had an open Budweiser sitting out. Maybe that's why they couldn't clamp a hose down right? Adding insult to injury, the mechanic was rude to me in every interaction. It felt like he resented me before he ever even met me. I was paying with a credit card, so I had to go through this poorly lit and grungy room. While in there, the mechanic kept making statements that ended with, "You know how females are."
