I had a new screen put into my iPhone, and they did a great job. They recommend an aftermarket…read morescreen, so I have waited to do my review to see if it lasted. It has been over 6 months and is still working great!

I would not recommend this repair service based on my experience…read more I originally brought my brand-new iPhone in for one issue: a screen repair. After the repair, the screen did not appear to be properly secured to the phone, and shortly afterward my phone began blacking out and would not consistently respond to touch. This was a completely different problem from the issue I originally brought the phone in for. I contacted him about the problem, and he offered to repair it again. However, after the first repair, I did not feel comfortable allowing him to work on my phone a second time. I asked about receiving a refund since I was not comfortable having the same person repair the phone after the first repair resulted in additional problems. I was told that refunds are not given. What made the situation more frustrating was the way the conversation felt to me. I felt like I was being talked over and fast-talked rather than having my concerns addressed. The conversation became a back-and-forth about whether the problem was my fault, even though I came in specifically for a screen repair and the phone began having additional issues after the repair. I also took my phone to Apple and Best Buy to get another opinion. I was informed that the replacement screen used was not an Apple screen and was a third-party part. I was also told there were concerns with how the screen and other components had been put back together. I cannot personally verify the technical details beyond what I was told by those locations, but that experience made me even less comfortable having the phone repaired again by the original technician. He mentioned that he had previously worked for Apple and repeatedly explained that he was being fair by offering to fix the phone again. My concern is that fairness should also include considering the customer's comfort when the customer no longer trusts the repair after experiencing problems following the original service. I also believe customers should be clearly informed BEFORE paying if repairs are performed using third-party parts and what the refund policy is. If the policy is that there are absolutely no refunds and the only resolution offered for a repair-related problem is for the same technician to attempt another repair, that should be clearly communicated upfront. For me, the price was never the issue. I would rather pay the correct amount to have my phone repaired properly the first time than save money and then have to spend additional time and money traveling somewhere else to correct the problem. I am sharing my experience so other customers can make an informed decision. I came in expecting one repair and left dealing with a completely different phone problem. Unfortunately, I did not feel comfortable allowing the same person to repair it again, and I did not feel that my concerns about that decision were adequately respected.

I wish I had never walked in the door there. This is the must unprofessional cell phone carrier I…read morehave ever used. The person that sold me my phone ripped me off and lied about the specs. I talked to corporate and they didn't care at all. Within a weeks time that person was in jail for fraud not to related to my situation. The next person's husband was burglarizing the businesses nearby. Then my Internet box died. Customer service told me to exchange it at the store, no charge. I went to the store four days in a row and they kept telling me to come back tomorrow. On the fourth day there was a guy in the store vaping hardcore blowing it in our faces. He told us it would cost us $450 to get a box from him, but I could go somewhere else if I wanted to. We did, we had paid for the entire month with only four days used. We switched to T-Mobile. Anything is better than Metro.

I got what was supposed to be a free phone and home Internet. The store manager left to me about…read morethe specs of the phone, I told her several times if it doesn't have 128 gigs I don't want it. She insisted it did. She hid my receipt. I found it in the bottom of the bag after I got home. I texted her immediately and told her this phone wasn't as good as the one in just had. The free phone that she charged me fifty bucks for. She told me to pick a case and something off the wall. Those two things were $33 a piece. I wasn't allowed to get the plan I wanted because she said at this store you can only have the most expensive one and the others were for old people. My activation fee was $123. I asked her why I needed to pay $300 and she said there were a lot of taxes and fees to pay with no contract. She also put her address as mine. I'm not sure what kind of fraud she was planning, but I got that changed last week. Metro said that was fraud, if I ordered a phone it would go to her.I spent two hours the next day with customer service to buy get any help at all. I told them I wanted to speak to her supervisor, they said no she's the store manager. Take your issues to her. Finally someone told me to drive to Little Rock and they might child help me. I'm not driving that far for maybe. Two weeks after I got this phone the same store manager went to jail and is still there. If you want a phone with Metro I suggest a different location or order it online. Be prepared. Customer service will not help you with much unless you're adding something. I did notice in the store that when people came wanting to discontinue service she told them she don't do that here and to call customer service. This was horrible. I regret in let them port my number, by the time I realized what happened it was too late. Maybe sure you check your receipts. Customer service told me that. They should put up signs saying that their employees are thieves.
