After a very short wait, Anthony told my friend he was ready for her. She has mobility issues and when he observed her struggling to get to the counter, he immediately said he'd come to her so he took a seat beside her to assist. I was very impressed with his kindness and patience as she explained the problems that she was having with the phone. We'd thought she needed the battery replaced but Anthony determined fairly quickly that there was a Verizon scanning app running in the background and that was draining the battery. We were on our way in under 15 minutes and he did not charge her anything for his time. I was quite impressed with his professionalism and knowledge but especially his kindness. I'm definitely heading to this shop when I need repairs to my phone!

Didn't hear anything about it until I called 3 days later and they said it had been ready. Get there and the screen popping off and they hand it to me anyway. Take it back and have them fix it again, come back 2 hours later and still not fixed. They tell me, "We are not going to be able to do anything about it, and that's the best we can do." This coming after I paid $450 to get it fixed. There solution was to deal with it. A joke!

I would not recommend this repair service based on my experience…read more I originally brought my brand-new iPhone in for one issue: a screen repair. After the repair, the screen did not appear to be properly secured to the phone, and shortly afterward my phone began blacking out and would not consistently respond to touch. This was a completely different problem from the issue I originally brought the phone in for. I contacted him about the problem, and he offered to repair it again. However, after the first repair, I did not feel comfortable allowing him to work on my phone a second time. I asked about receiving a refund since I was not comfortable having the same person repair the phone after the first repair resulted in additional problems. I was told that refunds are not given. What made the situation more frustrating was the way the conversation felt to me. I felt like I was being talked over and fast-talked rather than having my concerns addressed. The conversation became a back-and-forth about whether the problem was my fault, even though I came in specifically for a screen repair and the phone began having additional issues after the repair. I also took my phone to Apple and Best Buy to get another opinion. I was informed that the replacement screen used was not an Apple screen and was a third-party part. I was also told there were concerns with how the screen and other components had been put back together. I cannot personally verify the technical details beyond what I was told by those locations, but that experience made me even less comfortable having the phone repaired again by the original technician. He mentioned that he had previously worked for Apple and repeatedly explained that he was being fair by offering to fix the phone again. My concern is that fairness should also include considering the customer's comfort when the customer no longer trusts the repair after experiencing problems following the original service. I also believe customers should be clearly informed BEFORE paying if repairs are performed using third-party parts and what the refund policy is. If the policy is that there are absolutely no refunds and the only resolution offered for a repair-related problem is for the same technician to attempt another repair, that should be clearly communicated upfront. For me, the price was never the issue. I would rather pay the correct amount to have my phone repaired properly the first time than save money and then have to spend additional time and money traveling somewhere else to correct the problem. I am sharing my experience so other customers can make an informed decision. I came in expecting one repair and left dealing with a completely different phone problem. Unfortunately, I did not feel comfortable allowing the same person to repair it again, and I did not feel that my concerns about that decision were adequately respected.

If you go over the 14 days they will give you a refund but for a lot less than what you paid for the item even though the item was not opened. I had a sales person ensure me that the item I bought was compatible with my Samsung Galaxy S7 before I purchased the item. So the sales person did not know his rumpus from a hole in the ground. To me Staples return policy sucks and needs to be revised. I will not purchase anymore electronic items from staples. And the reason I did not bring it back right away was due to the salesperson ensuring me that the item would work and I was on night shift for a bit and forgot about it.

I also called this store and talked to an "on duty manager" named Will. Will confirmed that the store DID have those 2 file cabinets in stock. Based on (1) a printed CONFIRMATION number for the order and (2) a manager's verification that the items were at the store, I drove 30 miles to this store to pick up my file cabinets. Upon arriving at this store and asking Will for my file cabinets, Will said the order had been canceled, and that he "can't do anything about it." I then called Staples "customer service" number. After being on hold twice, I finally spoke with a "supervisor" named Mandy. In a recorded phone conversation with Mandy, she said Staples reserves the right to cancel ANY order, ANY time, and that it says so on their website. I asked what Staples was going to do about my wasted hour and half-tank of gas I used to drive to the store (based on the order "confirmation"). Mandy said Staples would do nothing, and ended the call by telling me to have a nice day. On 5/7/18 I was called by Glenda, Executive "Customer Relations" for Staples (859-488-3183). In a recorded phone conversation, Glenda told me that no matter how many "confirmations" I receive from staples.com, Staples always reserves the right to cancel any order at any time, and that this policy is clearly stated on their website.
