They were very professional and courteous on the phone and in person. the job looks great. The workers cleaned up so well that my alleyway is cleaner than before they came. I would recommend to a friend.

I hired AMC911 to perform structural repairs and crawl space encapsulation at my 92-year-old grandmother's home because I trusted them to do the job correctly. Instead, we have been left with a home that has significantly more structural problems than before they ever started. After the work was completed, I knew something wasn't right. I hired an independent licensed structural engineer to inspect our home. His written report concluded that the added support lines appears to have been installed in the wrong locations while the area actually supporting the entire second floor was left without the support it needed. They actually cut part of the original beam that was supporting the second floor. Also in his report, much of the structural distress throughout the home is attributable to that unsupported wall & the movement of the walls. He has recommended extensive corrective work. Just wait the damage didn't stop there. During the work, AMC911 damaged my HVAC system by running a steel beam through the HVAC return and put several holes into the duck work. I have since received repair estimates of more than $40,000+ to correct the structural issues and more than $10,000+ to repair the HVAC damage. That doesn't include the $90,000+ it's going to cost to repair the damages to the second floor. The cost to fully restore her home is going to be ridiculously expensive. My experience was also that the contract price was not the actual price. Once work began, there always seemed to be another charge or additional work that had to be paid for before they would continue. With the pay over the phone or give the workers the money and we will get you invoice that never comes. What I expected to be a straightforward project turned into constant additional expenses that I had not anticipated. Then when I raised concerns about the workmanship, it became nearly impossible to communicate with the owners. I could never get Brian McClung on the phone or schedule a meeting with him even when I just showed up to the office and don't get me started with Mariel McClung. I had one conversation with her over the phone where she was nasty & rude then after that she only communicate by text no matter how many times I called. It's sad a company I hired and paid tens of thousands of dollars to made me feel as though I was bothering them simply for asking them to address serious problems with my grandmother's home. Then after all that, Instead of correcting the issues I reported, I was told they would not perform any "warranty" or corrective work until I paid the remaining balance of the contract. & Because I believed the work was defective and incomplete, I withheld the final 10% payment until the contract was fulfilled and my grandmother's home was repaired properly. Rather than correcting the problems, AMC911 sued me for the remaining balance while the structural issues remained unresolved and continued to get worse. I will be attaching photos of the work so others can see the condition in which AMC911 left my grandmother's home. (Pictures of the beam, where they just tossed my duck work around & the "Encapsulation & water proofing" of my crawl space. I also have an independent structural engineer's written report if anyone cares to see it before hiring this terrible company. This has been one of the most stressful, frustrating, and disappointing experiences of my life. If you are considering hiring AMC911, I strongly encourage you to think twice before trusting them with your home. In my experience, they were quick to demand payment but unwilling to take responsibility for correcting serious issues that resulted from their work.
