Great work and great atmosphere! You know how sometimes you walk into a tattoo parlor and the "artists" seem to act like you are not there and annoyed by your presence? this is not one of them places. These guys are cool as they come. friendly, knowledgeable and open to your ideas. I got some work done by Dan and he did a great job I'm extremely happy at his interpretation of my idea and will definitely go back when I come up with my next piece. I recommend anyone looking to get some work done at least drop by their shop and see for yourself. I bet you leave with some new ink. read more

Been here three times times in the past two years for three different pieces (two of them coverups from tattoo terrors). Dan Moses did my work, but I've been told he's not there anymore :'( Love the whole vibe in there, cleanliness and professionalism is top notch. I was referred to this shop by my old branch manager and I went in to with Venjamin. I had a portrait done of my late brother and it turned out BEAUTIFUL!!! I was sketchy to get a portrait done because of the horror stories that I have heard from people that have gotten them done at other shops, but hats off to V because my portrait looks exactly like my brother. I also went in and got the San Jose Sharks logo tattooed on my foot and it turned out perfect as well! I don't think I'll ever get ink done anywhere else but here! Love these guys! read more

I had always drove past this place and decided to stop in and check it out. I just wanted my wife's name put on my chest, on my right side, I already have my daughters name over my heart. This review is a long time coming, as the work was done 2 years ago. The main man Venjamin was busy laying down some ink on someone, so he introduced me to this younger guy who looked like a kid, and now I have totally forgotten his name. After I reviewed all the patterns left behind by people who didn't want to take their patterns when leaving, I was amazed, shocked and blown away by the sheer range of styles he had done. I was just looking for a name in cursive, so he started drawing up the name --- trying his best to match the same style cursive letters as my daughters name. After a while he came up with his rendering, we went trough a couple of rounds of adjustments, then I decided -- that one looks good, slap it on. He geared up, put the rubber gloves on, set up his tat gun, while I got comfortable on the chair/table. The worst part of the whole experience was when we shaved my right chest side! It didn't take long, results were stellar. I'm thinking of coming here and getting a cover-up to go over some old ink I tattoo'd on myself! I would recommend this place. read more

This review is super late but I'm writing one because Strong Tattoo is a great shop. Venjamin is bad ass, and I'd recommend him to anyone wanting a quality tattoo. He did a huge rose piece on my back 2 years ago (my first and only so far!) and it really exceeded my expectations! He is extremely talented and I've seen some portraits he's done and they are amazing. He also really takes his time, pays attention to detail and makes you feel comfortable. He's pretty cool to talk to as he's working on you. If I decide to get another tattoo, I hope I'm able to go back to him. read more
