Gina carefully crafts each session to fit my fitness needs, using fun tools/props!
    Amy B.

Gina is amazing. Incredibly knowledgeable, but more importantly, I believe she applies a truly holistic approach to matching the right fitness program to each person's needs. She knows a great deal about health and wellness, and, for the interested, can shed light on things that can be done that you might not have thought about on your own. Strongly recommend.

I started working with Gina in December 2017 for two main reasons -- 1) I was hoping to "get in shape" for my May 2018 wedding and 2) I was physically and emotionally exhausted from work/life overload. I felt like I was burning out and on the verge of a breakdown if I didn't act fast to figure out how to take better care of myself. Being in service to others is my life's passion -- I love helping people become their best selves and, most importantly, I love achieving common goals together. While my willingness to help has gotten me very far in life, as I've gotten older, I've found that it often causes my own heath and needs to take a backseat. At the point when Gina and I started working together I was a young VP of Marketing in a rapidly-growing business, the President of a unique start-up non-profit that required an extraordinary amount of hands-on work, a soon-to-be wife, the owner of two dogs... and the list goes on. I felt tired all the time. I always felt over-committed and I couldn't do anything about it. I was incessantly "running 5 minutes late". Admittedly, I constantly felt like I was letting everyone down, especially my fiance who hardly got any of my quality time. And most importantly, I didn't feel good. I wasn't happy with the way things were going and I knew that while I had a lot of great things happening in my life, I needed to make some changes in order to sustain that momentum. Working with Gina was the catalyst for big changes that were desperately needed in my life. I recognized immediately that the work we were doing together was about much more than losing a few pounds -- it was about dedicating time to myself and making a commitment to my physical and mental health. Her no-nonsense attitude was exactly the influence and partnership I needed. She didn't tell me what I wanted to hear, but instead she focused on what I needed to hear. With her help, I finally understood that there was no magic bullet for health and most importantly, that being healthy has much bigger implications than fat loss alone. I realized that if I couldn't carve out two hours a week to better myself, then I was never going to sustain the type of personal growth that I'm seeking. She helped me to find strength that I didn't know I had, especially as it relates to creating better boundaries for myself. I found that in order to keep my commitments to our trainings, I had to say no to other things that would pop-up, but that the world kept spinning! Not only am I a fan of her workout style, but emotional coaching far exceeds anything I've ever experienced from a personal trainer in the past. While I recognize that balance and boundaries will always be challenging for me, I'm in a much better position than I was when we started working. I recognize more clearly the feelings of over-commitment and am constantly working to set better expectations for myself. I've also stopped searching for a "quick fix" for health, energy, mental clarity, and gratitude. I see that those come with hard work, just like all the other accolades I've achieved in my life. The work is constant, but so gratifying and contagious.

Gina helping me achieve my "50 & Fabulous" goals!!

I worked out in Gina's gym for a year and then moved to online training and have been doing that ever since.

When I could no longer tolerate the big box gyms, the crowds that flock to them and the bad behaviors that have cropped up over time, I finally made the move to this gym. Sure it's smaller, sure it doesn't have daycare, saunas, pools, giant changing rooms but I consider all those things a plus. People who show up here show up to work out not sit at the sauna and pool all day. The price point is higher than most gyms but not unreasonable. You get what you pay for -- mostly in peace and quiet and an overall more courteous gentler crowd. There is a good mix of equipment that can handle a mix of folks who just want fitness, folks who are into bodybuilding and powerlifters. For the most part all three groups exist in peace. Perhaps the general fitness folks may at times be a little intimidated by some of the louder harder workouts of the powerlifters. But this can be mitigated by changing the time you go. I get overstimulated by such noises so I try to avoid those folks if I can. ( I can be a gentle flower lol) Gender balance. This gym has a very healthy gender balance. Luckily this crowd is not there to find suitors, they are there to work out so no fake eyelashes or clown makeup nor guys just dragging their wings along the ground like turkeys in heat. Please respect this dynamic and don't come here to hit on people. Like most gyms the peak time is 5-7 week days except it's mostly Monday to Wednesday that's somewhat busy during rush hour. But nothing like the big box gyms. It's busy but not impossible to get a workout in like other gyms. Folks are not aggressive with each other, they are kind when they approach you for working in etc. I take a long time at some machines people should be upset but there is no upset, only kindness. They are swapping out some of the equipment and its changes for the better -- mind you what's there is already plenty. This is a small gym floor compared to mix chain gyms. The gym in Lincoln village is slightly larger and the new one in round rock will be huge. The hours are great. Parking is plenty however not endless, sometimes you will have to hunt a little. The gym is clean, bathrooms is clean but could be better. I am just being honest. It's just fine. I have been spoiled by Lifetime and EOS. There is a regular crowd that's been there a long time and they sometimes do exert a little bit of ownership and territorial behavior but they are mostly harmless, they could use the challenge of new faces, and they are perfectly able to adapt and accept newcomers. So don't be intimidated. It's all teddy bears in there. The staff also is amazingly friendly and attentive and keep the place sharp and on top shape and help members. I highly recommend you get a week pass and check it out!

I've made 50 or so friends and acquaintances with all the members.. the demographic is all ages here, at all fitness levels. The main reason I adore this gym, is the quality of equipment, and availability of said equipment. As someone who's 30 years old and has been lifting weights since they were 15.. I know my way around a gym. This gym has EVERYTHING you could ever need to build your dream body, and they're not endorsing me to say these words. I am passionate about fitness, some would say more than average. Los Campeones is truly a gym of champions. Choose this gym.

I received a guest pass for a cycle workout from my Yelp friend Airon Andrews…read more I was impressed with the gym. There are so many amenities...snack shop, free towels, hydro massage chairs, Normatek compression boots, cold therapy chairs, pool, and real massages. The cycle class by dynamic instructor David Garza was quite a workout! It was only 30 minutes long but energy packed! I was familiar with the Soul Cycle type classes, which include push-ups while cycling. But this class introduced dance style moves, such as swaying hips. It was a real dance party! I was exhausted but feeling great afterwards. We partook of the Normatek compression boots, which were good therapy for my recently injured knee. The hydro massage chairs were taken, so we skipped that. All in all, this high end gym was a great experience. I would join, except my insurance does not cover the gym because it is considered "premium."

This time it was lifetime who booked me for 60 min when I wanted 30 min. I'm so over the spa here / they never have an esthetician available and charge $95 for a 30 min massage which is expensive by any means and the front desk manager is a bitch!
